That's great news, Lori. I know you'll do well because you're a passionate person (and also a big supp junkie). Good luck with it.

Thank you! I'm still in disbelief here, I could hardly sleep last night. Stephen and I can't stop talking about it, it's exciting stuff. I thought I was going to be sitting at a desk designing ads or something, I never thought they'd be like "Oh, you want your own business? We've got a product line of protein floating around, here you go!" ...Huh?
Very excited about the hiking too!!
Hey, I'm not a supp junkie lol!
Thanks I can't wait!!!! I just hope the protein is not absolutely horrible and that's why they pawned it off on us In which case, I'm gonna need some samples...Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Today’s workout was hard! My upper body is still super sore from Wednesday’s power upper so I lowered the weight drastically and tried for higher reps which didn’t really go over too well
But tomorrow we’re going hiking, and tomorrow night we’re going out and probably celebrating so Sunday will be useless, and I didn’t want to not workout for three days in a row And legs are out of the question because of the super long hiking tomorrow. So I sucked it up and got it done. Now Power Lower day is on Monday or Tuesday- I don’t know my hours yet for work. Yes. I hurt now and I’m hungry as heck! Only 2 more hours before I can eat Yay.

Haha! I can't wait to be able to use the 70's
Thanks, I'm a little concerned though. Marketing protein in a different way (targeting a slightly different group) is not going to be an easy task. There are sooo many of them out there, and to distiguish one amongst them all is going to be tough. He he he! I remember learning about product differentiation in College! Oh boy though. Well, the...Boss? wants to open up a gym and all that stuff along with it, and they do have creatine and glutamine and a few other products...Oy! Maybe I can be a trainer and a marketer....
Thank you!!!! It'll be tough, but an interesting summer project for us, especially because we get paid to do it And if we do a good job, well then there are more opportunities available and that would be sweet!
Thanks!! It's beautiful here today! A bit cold, but nice and sunny!!!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Calories Eaten Yesterday-1627
Calories Burned Yesterday- 2281
You know, I really dislike it when life gets in the way of dieting. I mean, I like to have fun, and I don't socialize very much (I choose not to because I like my sleep & training) I find it difficult sometimes to manage my calories when things get busy. Like today. We're going hiking for 3-4 hours. Then I'm going to be adding on about 6 hours to my normal day, and rather than be sedentary during that time, I'm on my feet burning a lot of calories. On days I do a workout and stay up late I burn about 2600 cals until midnight, and wake up with near to 1000 cals burned instead of my usual 600.
Somehow I don't think eating 1550-1600 calories is going to suffice today. I think I'll die, especially because some of those calories will be beer calories. Because of the big calorie burn that will most likely result from today, I'm thinking of eating more around 2000 calories. I am actually even thinking about making a sandwich or something to take downtown with me so I can avoid the late night munch out on pizza!! lol! Or maybe getting small sub instead and eating less tomorrow. I never have much of an appetite the day after...
Bah! This is our celebratory night for finishing school (I'm almost graduated, stupid last course) and we haven't stayed out late like this in about 2 months, so I'm going to have fun!
Anyway, sorry for rabbling! I'm just annoyed because I want to lean out so badly. I want a good few solid weeks of no distractions and no cheating. I want that scale to start moving again. I'm even thinking about ordering a fat burner...Though an E/C stack is cheaper....Hmm...Either way there's going to be a lot of a** kicking starting on Monday.Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Jeebus! Very strong one arm rows. You sure you're not using AAS? I'm antisocial too, by the way. I prefer my own company. Nothing wrong with that.

04-23-2011, 06:46 AM #4664
Like lucifer - I'm more on the anti-social side, too! I know it sounds odd coming from a 17 yr old but life can get so complicated with so many human beings in your life. I have a small circle of friends and they're in school with me - they see me 5 days a week and occassionally on weekends (I usually spend my weekends doing my groceries + preparing meals for the week.) I know what you mean about food choices :P it's so easy to just go for that pizza! My friends aren't really into the "fitness frenzy" as they like to call it and are always hitting up McD's after school; I'll eat out at Nando's or something on Fridays but not McD's!!! Ew D:
There aren't really any good places to go to for lunch/dinner when going out to shopping centres/malls anyway (I'll go to Nando's any day though ;D)
Anyway, go out and have fun! Enjoy it while it lasts because as you said, you have some serious a** kicking awaiting you as of Monday!!

I like hanging out, I just have a lot of hobbies that I really enjoy doing!! Luckily, Stephen is into the same things as me so we get to do them together! Which is cool We read together and draw pictures together and play video games together, it's great! When we hang out it's like your doing your own thing anyway, you know? It's funner than doing things that you don't really want to do but other people want to.
I hear ya! I also have a close circle of friends, and they actaully are into fitness, but they're mostly guys and can eat what they want lol! And I'm usually the one who does the pizza chant until we get some But I can't help it, running around all night makes me hungry!! Haha! I hear ya on the Mcdonalds, I use to work there a few years ago, and YUCK! The burger patties are just festering in their own greasy juices for hours! And the chicken is not much better. I usually try for Subway and get a small sub w/whole wheat bread, meat, veggies, mustard and cheese. That's not so bad, but I don't like eating out too much. We don't have a Nando's here
Thanks!!!
Thank you!! It was fun!!!
Thanks!! Yup, I realize I have a huge task ahead of me!!! But it'll be fun, and a great learning process! Maybe we can put together more things than just selling protein....A few side projects that can generate more profit ...
That is an awesome accomplishment!! I will be so happy for you when that day comes!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

We went for an awesome hike, it was super long!!!!! It was brutal on the way back- uphill most of the way so you were hiking until you lost the feeling in your legs, stopped until you could feel them again, and then kept going. Boy are they hurting now. I burned 1900+ calories so far! And we've decided to stay in tonight because we're pooped so I can still have my calorie deifict! WHoo! Well, it won't be as big, but it will be at least 400 calories, I'll probably burn at least 400 more today. Calories are 1900 for today (I really had to eat to fuel this one- I would have died). Calories are 1900 for today. I'm glad we're staying in, it's awesome because then tomorrow we won't be hungover and we can go shopping and I can burn more calories and eat less so my deficit is a bit higher. I'm excited because Charles wants to go to the gym for Power lower day, so we're going to accompany him after work next week! Lori gets to do leg presses till her legs fall off This is what the hike looked like:

Calories Burned Yesterday- 2638
Deficit-718 calories
Weight- 124lbs
Lots of calories burned yesterday! I'm happy I'm still in a deficit, I didn't want to go over my calories. I'm hungry this morning though Arg! It's Eatser Sunday and everything is closed today! I didn't realize- I wanted to go get more f.f cool whip lol!
I was just looking at the product site. The site is incomplete, and it's being sold in the smallest, most unknown place ever. It needs total revamping, more products being sold, better labels, better website, I'm going to town with this. I'm getting programs started, merchandise made, more products/flavours made, I'm going to take something small and useless and turn it into something big and world wide.
It needs more exposure, and to be sold in more places. It needs product reviews. It needs so much, and I'm excited to go to work tomorrow with all of our ideas sorted and the competition scoped out. It's going to be awesome. Oh yes.
And on another note- Thank goodness this is a rest day. My leggies are so so tired. I cannot wait to go to the gym for power lower day though, I'm so excited for that. I have never leg pressed before, and I really want to. I want to see how different the amounts of weight are at the gym compared to at home.
That's supposed to be tomorrow, I'm going to have to beg Charles to push it to Tuesday instead Hahaha! His legs have got to be tired too, though. Well, I'm gone! We've got to go to Stephen's Pops house for Easter dinner and then to Mom's house later on. And I have to pack lunches! He he he!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Sounds like a tiring day yesterday I need to get back into hiking, I wonder what my burn will look like if started lol. Take the product and revamp it for sure, it could be the best stuff on Earth and with crappy marketing and labeling its not goign to do much like you said.
Happy Easter and enjoy the foodz! If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Oy. Crappy job! Bull****ters that can sweet talk. No pay for 8 hour work days? I don't think so. It should be illegal for work terms to not be paid, especially for the work we were putting in aaallllll day long. Pfft! Stupid no good poo heads. Trying to juice us for all we're worth to put money in their pockets using our ideas and our knowledge while they twiddle their thumbs. Well, no THANKS!
Ok, so, that plan failed Gotta make a new one. Gotta make a trip to the college tomorrow and secure a different, more reasonable job Urg!
Today was a rest day. Tomorrow will be heavy leg day. And I can't WAIT to take my aggression out on some deadlifts! Haven't been talking to Charles about the gym- not sure if he went or not. I was soooo busy yesterday and today, I just got in the door and shoveled down some supper half an hour ago. Then I drank a beer! Good ol' 67 calorie beer. Ahhh. Anyways, gym or home gym, workout tomorrow is a MUST! And I felt totally tiny in my new pants today! They're white and flared at the bottoms, and stretchy- I love them! They are getting loose after all day and they're a size 3!! Come on old size one pants...
***Deficit the day before was just too huge- I was dying and my legs were failing me- literally buckling from under me. And I was feeling run down and crappy. So I ate some extra healthy food.Team Cookies Give You Superpowers
