I'm very skinny, with a fast metabolism, and I'm starting to workout and trying to put on mass. I was wondering if mass gainers are worth it, or only stick to protein shakes? Was thinking about buying BSN True-Mass, or just Optimum 100% Whey. What should I do?

Mass Gainers can be convenient, as long as you are not drinking a shake that is loaded with fat/sugar.
Try to find one that offers a good quality protein blend (not just whey concentrate) and also has some fiber to help with digestion. It is also important to look at how much powder is required for each shake; some products call for a bucket of powder just to make one shake.
Otherwise you can just pick up a good quality protein powder and mix it with oatmeal, milk, etc. to meet your needs.Pro Strongman & Former National Champion
