Ok so I am trying to gain mass. I'd like to be about 235 by the end of the year. I'm between 210 and 215 now. I take Serious Mass right now twice a day. I also try to eat a bunch. Once the new SizeOn comes out I plan on taking that too. I'm taking some cheap creatine now pre and post workout. I might start taking a preworkout supp again, I haven't decided if I wanna spend my money on one or not. So how does that look for supps?

Serious Mass is OK if you are having trouble eating but your best bet would be to focus on whole foods and then add in a protein powder to meet your daily requirements there. 'Gainers' are expensive and in many cases are just a ton of whey concentrate and maltodextrin.
With regard to your creatine you should just be taking 3-5 grams/day of creatine; timing is not very important and creatine is not a post-workout solution. You should be taking in low GI carbohydrates and a high quality protein (blend) post-workout.
For pre-workout you can simply take some caffeine, a cup of coffeee, or a designer pre-workout like NO-Explode, NO-Shotgun, etc.
I would spend money on things like milk, natural peanut butter, beef, chicken, oatmeal, eggs, etc.
Keep things simple with supplements:
- Creatine (Strength)
- Protein (Recovery)
- Pre-Workout / Stimulant (Energy)Pro Strongman & Former National Champion
PR Gym Lifts -> Front Squat 515 Lbs / Deadlift 700 lbs / Strict Press 325 lbs

TomMutaffis advise is good.
There are only two reasons (IMO) to use a weight gainer:
1) Convenience
2) High in calories
I am just not a fan of gainers for 4 reasons:
1) Lower quality ingredients.
2) Too much sugar.
3) Price to serving ration is usually poor.
4) I can make a homemade version that is cheaper, and tastes better.
Thats just me though. If you like gainers thats all good. It's just not worth the money to me.Last edited by eddiegoodfellar; 01-02-2010 at 04:31 PM.

Home made gainers are the best IMO, plus it would only be a necessity if you run a busy life where you really cant get all your full meals in a day. I rarely make my own gainer shake since I do find the time to get everything I need in but as everyone says.
Multivitamins will do wonders when you hit that plateau. Plus, keeps your immune system up to par. Optimen / animal pak. I tried both and prefer Opti because it's only 3 pills as opposed to 11.
