Hi powerlifting people,
If you're interested, I started a blog mostly devoted to Olympic weightlifting and my own training. Thought some of you might find some of the content interesting or useful.
Link is here:

Feel free to "follow" it and leave comments.
Also, if you see an ad that interests you, go ahead and click. I'm saving up to purchase some new plates for my home gym
Mods, if I've violated any board rules with this post, please remove it immediately and let me know so I won't do it again.

Not much, like 0.25 or so, but I've already made $7 in 2 days
The plates I want cost $79.99, or $119.99 for the colored ones, so hopefully I'll have enough to buy them for myself for Xmas.
They do click-tracking, so I can't click myself or have one person click on 92948734 ads, but if every time you read it you click on a couple (like open up in background tabs) that'd be awesome.

I've never ventured in there! Kind of scared of that place...
I added the ads so I could afford my Xmas present I may remove them once I hit my goal! Unless I need to buy something for Valentine's Day next...
A "day" at work that ends at 4:30AM? That sound like it has potential for being interesting. Unless you're a night watchmen. Unless the nightwatchmen job is at the Museum of Natural History...
Thanks man I'd read about Asperger's if you post it in a comment

lol, that would be alot more interesting!
i build cars on the night shift- 4 ten hour days a week. my day starts at 330 when i leave home to pick up my carpool. it's an hour or so drive to the plant, the real work-day begins at 5:30pm and ends at 4 am. i've been laid off for the last 2 weeks for a parts shortage, but go back next tuesday.
usually we stop for coffee on the way home, if the fresh donuts are out i can't resist, so i get one (or 3). i get home about 5:45am and get to bed about 6:30. the kids get me up around 10:30 or 11, then after my daughter gets on the school bus at noon, i try to get the little one to let me take a nap. sometimes i'm successfull, more often i'm not.
basically, i spend 4 days a week living on caffeine and 5 hours of sleep."If there must be trouble let it be in my day, that my child may have peace." -Thomas Paine

My understanding is that there's a range of prices paid by the advertiser, depending on how popular the key words used to generate an ad impression make. When I had a short-lived real estate blog, it was more like $1 per click. The ads my current blog host appear to range from $0.07-0.50 per click.
However, the rules are pretty strict about soliciting clicks (I probably bent them already since I read the rules after posting!), and they'll shut you down in a flash if they suspect you're breaking them!
Do you have a blog?
