I never did post on this thread since I didn't start lurking the Misc until months later.

But it was around the end of 2009 that I had a sort of vision of what I wanted to accomplish in my life. It was unrealistic as fuk. My goals were mainly social related, being a loner with crippling social anxiety (also a kissless virgin).

But somehow I pulled off everything I had set out to do... And not only that, but I FAR surpassed what I had initially considered my ideal, best case scenario of a life. Completely reinvented myself, spent a few years as the partying social butterfly that knew everyone, went from kissless to making out with girls way hotter than my past oneitises, lost my virginity, and I can say that almost any day of the past five years would have been a candidate for top 10 best day ever to my past self.

I'm often hard on myself because I keep raising the bar higher and higher so I never feel like I'm doing enough, but when thinking back to what my initial goals were in 2009, I did pretty well for myself.
