I'll be honest with you, you're not going to be lean at 175 after this cut. Anyhow, try whatever number you'd like for caloric intake, let's say 2,000 for starters. Try that for a week or two and see what your results look like. If you're not losing fat at the rate you like and you're preserving muscle mass then drop caloric intake down, increase activity or do a combination of both. It's all about trial and error or adjusting, it's a part of it unless you start with a large deficit right from the start.
"Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad, they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.

I think you will look good at 175. I seem to do good with less carbs and more fat and ya 2000 a day would probabily be good. I'm 6'3 180 and I'm between 10-11%bf right now. 2000 is working great for me.
