    Cardio in the morning, Lifting in the evening?

    Do any of you do cardio in the morning, and then lift in the evening? How does it work out for you?

    I'm considering lifting/cardio 5x a week and 2x off, in place of 3x cardio, 3x lifting, 1x day off.

    find if you do hiit my work out suffers. I usually do 4 days gym 2 days cardio now seperately.

    you're going to be tired as hell but if you can manage the energy then whatev. definitely do cardio in the morning, if you dont have energy to lift at night than switch it to morning as well (reps for answer would be cool)

    last fall semester i used to wake up every morning, drink a big glass of aminos and then go run on an empty stomach.

    6 days a week. 3 days hiit - 3 minute brisk walk and 3 minute all out sprint 21 minutes total. also 3 long duration/low intensity days, 45 minutes of a steady pace, jogging. would alternate hiit and jogging each day.

    then go to class and do tasks and eat all day, and lift for an hour or so hard all hopped on pwo stims and a big meal at night.

    also ate 6 small PERFECTLY balanced meals per day, took creatine and drank a minimum of 1.5 gallons of water per day.

    i started getting in to AMAZING shape but i also had no job and very little social life.

    this past summer and fall i rarely ever did cardio, lifted at any random time during the day when i had time, if i EVER did cardio it was right after my lifts, and i cut out the creatine and water intake.

    i wasnt in as good of shape as i was last fall, but i also worked full time, made a bunch of money, and went out and partied like 4-5 nights a week.

    its a personal decision i guess.

    yeah i dont nearly have enough time for that anymore, nor the will to hit the gym a total of 10 to 11 times per week, but it's definitely the recipe for success.

    last fall i was the most shredded i had ever been since wrestling season back in high school, when i was like 5% body fat but not in a healthy fashion and not nearly as strong physically or mentally.
