For anyone who wants to get ripped and never has achieved it since:
You only need to follow 3 simple rules:
- eat enough protein (about 1g / lb of lean body mass a day).
- perform intense anaerobic training.
- reduce calories to lose about 1-2 lbs a week.
I guarantee anybody who does that for long enough to get ripped to shredds. Forget about books, fitness trainers, and "gurus". They are all bull****ters who want to steal your money. The whole industry is just a bunch of liars and crooks.

Hey,
I posted this question in your original thread in the weight loss section today, maybe you can answer it here:
Hi,
I just read Wavelength Guide to Cutting v1.0 and have a few questions.
I'm currently at ~185 lbs, 17 or 18% bf and want to get cut (visible abs - hopefully 10%bf) by summer (July or August).
- How many months before hand should I start if I follow this simple method?
- How do I calculate the amount of calories I should eat (I guess its a bit less than maintainence, but how much?)?
- Do I start cutting right away or do I need a period to slowly adjust my caloric intake to a lower level?-=[$]MISC. FINANCE CREW[$]=-

Sorry man, answered in the main thread.
PM me anytime if I ever miss a question.
Irrelevant except for a certain amount of protein.
As mentioned above, I recommend 1g / lb LBM. However, I agree that most people will probably still be able to yield (close to) optimal results with less. It's just an easy way which fits all.

I tried 1g/kg and my body composition suffered. That's just my experience, others may differ. My recommendation is on the lower end anyway if you compare it to most "bodybuilding diets".How to lose fat for Noobs: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=129247741

Good ****, I wish people wouldn't make things so complicated. Fundamentally, losing weight is sooooo simple it's stupid. There's only ONE thing you need to do and you're GUARANTEED to lose weight. Just consume less calories than you expend. Regardless of all crazy supplements you're taking, kind of training your doing, complicated macro computing you're doing, if you eat less calories than you burn you're guaranteed to lose weight. It's that simple.
But that's just on a fundamental level, obviously working out is paramount, but people get too caught up in the training and supps that they don't realize they just need to eat less.
