Rotator cuff exercises. When to do them?

To make my rc stronger and to increase my bench press and oh press, I'm doing some rc exercises like internal and external rotations.

When should I be doing these exercises?

After my shoulder/chest workout, before, as part of or on a different day?

I do them VERY LIGHT, before my chest workout to warm up the rotator muscles. Note i'm just doing like 1 min to warm up the muscles using 1kg or 2kg dumbells.

I then do them at the end of my back workout on a different day obviously. This time i do 2 to 3 different exercises using cables (only 2.5kg weight (ie lowest weight on machine)).

I do internal and external rotations with bands before every workout. It helps me a bunch with shoulder pain.

    Lightbulb

There's no need to do them unless your Physio told you to do so. Practice the lifts more often to get better at them.

I quite like them and I've read stories from Yates and Poliquin who had clients who significantly increased their bench with it.

I do internal and external with bands after my shoulder workout. I wouldn't do them before... Because it is more of a weak link and could cause injury if you go heavy push hard on your lifts etc.
