Basic Strength Standards Chart for Squats, Deadlift, Bench Press and Overhead Press

May have been posted before but I thought i'd repost it for people who hadn't seen it before.

    http://www.crossfit.com/cf-journal/WLSTANDARDS.pdf

Do you lot think this chart is accurate and does anyone work to this for goals etc?

    Anyone in the 'elite' section?

Only lift I have is my DL which is near advanced. 440lbs @ 190lbs (I wanna get elite lol)

Rip and Kilgore made those tables in PPST 1st edition (where it's from as far as I know), but took them out of the 2nd edition because they found that people were confusing these numbers with actually being 'intermediate', etc. Intermediate is someone who can't linearly progress, not someone who can lift x pounds.

That being said, I love this table because it gives me goals to strive for.
    GOMAD!

    Yeah it's a good table.

And if I am not making progress for a while I check this chart to see if the poundages I am lifting are in line with these figures or if i'm above average etc.

I've been lifting for almost 2 years now and at 181 lbs I'm between advanced and elite on every lift except power cleans (have no clue what I can power clean but I know I can hang clean 225 x 3)---I'm not sure what that equates to in power cleaning terms. Current lifts are: Bench Press: 300, Squat: 425, Deadlift: 475
My goal is to keep getting bigger and stronger so one day I might be able to achieve Elite in every category.

    Good chart for general lifters.

The "Elite" category would make you an mediocre powerlifter.
