    does creatine work

    hey guys
im 16 and have been lifting for 6 months but my body type only allows me to put on muscle reeeeeally slowly...
i'm interested in starting with supplements but, like most of you guys i care alot about my overall health. so i'm wondring...
has creatine got any known side effects - i don't want to take anything that could be bad for my health!
Also, do you recommend anything else that even less likely to have side effects on my health but would still increase my muscle mass?

It's naturally produced in the body and found in steak. Does that help answer your question?
