lol I read somewhere in 1 of bruces books that even Bruce in real life wouldnt fight unless its 1 on 1 IRL..more than 1 person he found it risky (even though he would prob destroy like 4 people at once) he thought it wasnt a very clever move.

Bruce Lee was a great fighter, but only made legendary in films. I am not sure if this would translate into legendary abilities in an MMA fight. He was made to be an amazing fighter in movies but all of that is choreographed and prefabricated. No Bruce Lee hate, he still had a powerful impact on martial arts movies, and is no doubt a good fighter.
Bruce Lee was a good striker, however, he also had ground training, so he would hold his own, but he would be at a great disadvantage against multiple assailants who also have years of fighting experience.A Crypto project I invested in that may pump before December 30, 2018: (Matrix AI Network, MAN)

BJ Penn has amazing ground skills, but Bruce Lee also had training in grappling. Back in the day, films were about striking style martial arts, and grappling movies were few and far between. Not seeing Lee's grappling abilities in an actual movie is not evidence to dismiss this ability. He wanted to keep himself rounded as a fighter.

he couldnt beat a top 5 at HW, LHW, MW, WW, LW.
He is not as great as a fighter as portrayed.
show me a reall fight of him beating a solid fighter.
DUH U CANT, **** fighter is **** tbh.
good movie star with fancy moves that will get you koed in a fight
wutlol i hope your trolling or a child bro.
bruce would probably barely win against a bottom ranked top 20 at LW, let alone higher weight classes.
styles make fights.Last edited by MassOverFemales; 12-21-2009 at 02:21 PM.

Bruce Lee was probably one of the best physical specimines of humanity, ever. He was insanely strong for his size, his cardio was unbelievale, and he was extremely flexible and well trained, probably more than any fighter in this day and age. Even arnold himself said that he had one of the best physiques he had ever seen.
He was at the utmost peak of human ability at the time, and was very well trained in a large variety of martial arts, even beating some of the best fighters of the world at that time. Can you take 1960s Bruce Lee and expect him to beat a fighter of today? Not really (although he might be able to), just as you can't expect a sprinter from the 60s to beat one from today.
If Bruce Lee did live and adapt is training styles to today's, with all the science and technological advancements, he would undoubtedly be one of the top fighters in the world.Doctor by hobby, douchebag by profession.

Lee's phenomenal fitness meant he was capable of performing many exceptional physical feats. The following list are the physical feats that are documented and supported by reliable sources.
Lee's striking speed from three feet with his hands down by his side reached five hundredths of a second.
Lee could spring a 235 lb (107 kg) opponent 15 feet (4.6 meters) away with a 1 inch punch.
Lee's combat movements were at times too fast to be captured on film at 24fps, so many scenes were shot in 32fps to put Lee in slow motion. Normally martial arts films are sped up.
Lee could perform push ups using only his thumbs
Lee would hold an elevated v-sit position for 30 minutes or longer.
In a speed demonstration, Lee could snatch a dime off a person's open palm before they could close it, and leave a penny behind.
Lee performed one-hand push-ups using only the thumb and index finger
Lee performed 50 reps of one-arm chin-ups.
From a standing position, Lee could hold a 125 lb (57 kg) barbell straight out.
Lee could break wooden boards 6 inches (15 cm) thick.
Lee performed a side kick while training with James Coburn and broke a 150-lb (68 kg) punching bag
Lee could cause a 300-lb (136 kg) bag to fly towards and thump the ceiling with a side kick.
In a move that has been dubbed "Dragon Flag", Lee could perform leg lifts with only his shoulder blades resting on the edge of a bench and suspend his legs and torso perfectly horizontal midair.
Lee could thrust his fingers through unopened steel cans of Coca-Cola, at a time before cans were made of the softer aluminum metal.
Lee could use one finger to leave dramatic indentations on pine wood.Last edited by wutlol; 12-21-2009 at 02:32 PM.
