Having trouble staying focused while working out.

Lately, I've hard an extremely hard time concentrating while working out, and have pushed it off to the next day, the next day.

It's like whenever I start, I'm getting extremely bored and start thinking about everything else but weights.

I know the best way to stop this is from within, but I've heard pre-workout supps can help you stay focused, like Jack3d. Do they really?

the pre workout supps may help you focus a little bit, but for me nothing works better than music. I put on whatever amps me up and that always helps me push harder.

I think we all have SOME days like that but if every workout is like that then theres a problem...maybe you have lots going on outside the gym that causes you to not be able to focus in the gym? OR maybe your just bored with what your doing? OR maybe you need some time off from the gym sometimes its a good thing for that very reason. You come back fresh and refocused.

ask yourself those questions and u will have your awnser

    Lightbulb it's focus and want

Dude a lot of it is youth ......your thinkin about events, school, your friends, your girl.....it's all normal...you need to find a way to block those thoughts....rethink your workout time as treating yourself to personal improvement time.....You are setting aside this time to work on you and your body....Make out a workout schedule on a calendar.....post it on your bathroom wall....look and focus on it every morning when you get up....It's your written reminder...your own personal contract...Lastly...answer this truthfully....Is a lean, more muscular body something you have always hoped for?.....Is it an ultimate passion? if no...focus on what you truly want to accomplish...but if the answer is Yes....Focus on that...meditate on that....work towards that which will be fullfilling.....happy holidays...Bro.....Self
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live the world they're been given than to explore the power they have to change it...Impossible is not a fact...It's an opinion...Impossible is not declaration...It's a dare...Impossible is potential...Impossible is temporary...Impossible is nothing...

Maybe the work isn't stimulating enough? Sitting in front of a pc all day can really stress out the eyes but I wouldn't put off the work too much, procrastination can make everything at a whole lost less interesting (You want the opposite lol)

    1. Pre-Workout song that pumps you.
    2. Supplements can help you focus
    3. Warm-up since the beginning of lifting is pretty hard. I find all my starts difficult but once I heat up, I go crazy.
    Just be yourself.

His age is irrelevant, I've seen people younger then him with stronger work ethic and judgment . They're are plenty of natural competitive teenage bodybuilders as well. To the OP, stop being too much of a conformist because you lack confidence in attaining your goals, that's why you can't focus, you don't truly believe it will become a reality, however know this, the more you do it, the more of a habit it becomes, and the more of a habit it becomes, the more of embodiment of your goals will ascend onto reality. Believe it's possible, act accordingly, stop ****ing around, and get serious with your training, it's not easy, if it was easy, america wouldn't have an obesity problem....
