yesterday this girl put up a dumb status on fb saying "only 5% of humans dream in color" i thought it was stupid, remembered back on some dreams and recalled color.
this morning i woke up, right away thought about the dream i had (weird as fuuuck cuz) and it was in kind of a lighter sepia... wtf.
have i just been unaware?
when you wake up from your next dream think about it and try to remember colors.

i only really remember lucid dreams, and they were all in normal colour?

I'm pretty sure you actually do dream in black and white. But every dream I remember was in color. I doubt I'm part of that small population so maybe your dream was in black and white but you remember it in color when you wake since that's the way we consciously think? Idk

Most of my dreams are in black and white, with colors being very very hard to discern.
Like I can see that it has color, but not really...
Also a lot of the times, the dream blacks out (cant see anything), but I'm still in the dream.o

When I recall dreams normally I never remember colors. Like an above poster said sometimes it´s like I can't even see in the dream even though I'm there in the dream (sometimes everything is just really hazy). Always thought about this color thing. However once I was partially lucid dreaming and I managed to observe the dream while it was going on consciously and made strong mental note that I did indeed see colors in my dream. When I think back on the dream I can't remember what the dream was about or even the colors but I do remember that I made myself remember that I for sure saw colors while the dream was happening.
