Best supplements to take while cutting?

    Hey everyone,

So I've been working out for quite some time, hurt my shoulder, lost a good amount of my muscle, and just started working out again. However, i think that i want to focus on cutting right now and was wondering what the best supplements are for cutting?

I want to take creatine, but wouldn't it make you gain weight and gain fat..instead of getting ripped?

Also any multi-vitamins you would recommend? or amino acids?

And I don't want to take any ephedrine products or any of that dangerous **** hah, just dont think the risk is worth it.

I'm also working on a 5 meal a day diet (and failing miserably right now!) but i would like some extra supps to help me out.

    Thanks in advance

As the poster above me said, Creatine will not make you fat. Certain creatine (monohydrate) may give you a "creatine bloat" or a bloat for a short period of time after dosing it each day (or however often you take a dose). However, that is a short amount of time and not lasting.

However, for a cut I would look into aminos. Scivation Xtend is a great product that you can sip on throughout the day or through any physical activity. It won't make or break your cut by any means, but it can certainly give you a slight edge.

At the end of the day, check out your nutrition and training regimen to get the best results. If you'd like to let me know your diet and have me critique it, feel free to PM me.

creatine gives a fuller look, it's not fat, it's just water retention. this look go away as soon you stop taking it, like 2 or 3 days later. depending on how is your diet, which is the main key to success, you may throw in a fat burner for the sake of help.
remember, quality meals and daily calory intake deficit are the only things, along with training, you'll ever need.

Probably an intra so you keep the muscles you have.

I would take advantage of muscle memory right now and bulk for 2-3 months than cut.

Also EC isn't that bad. I'm on it right now and today was my first dose. Was kinda scared but after I felt normal, like I feel after I drank a bit too much coffee but nothing drastic.

Also, pre-workout supplements will aid in fat burning to cut you up nice. Cutting is mostly about diet though while still lifting as heavy as possible, with good form of course.
