i am currently tryin to cut down and i have been hearing alot of talk about this p90x insanity to help rip down. is it going to help rip me down quick and healthy. what i mean by healthy is still have tight skin or will i have loose skin etc... any advice?

You won't get loose skin with that. If you were 6'2" 260 then maybe, but you don't have to lose much weight at all.
P90X is a solid weight loss program that keeps things fun by frequently switching workouts. It's pretty challenging, and expect to get a solid bit of cardio out of it. It's not great for building muscle, but it's good at establishing a base if you don't have one, and it'll get you doing lots of pushups and pullups, which a lot of people enjoy being good at.
