Not too bad here...just killing time waiting on the dr. Trvlr's speech about skin cancer a few months ago prompted me to go get a bump on my nose checked out.

Mission accomplished. I pleased to know that I in some way encouraged you to do this. Let us know how it all turns out.

If I see one more damn chick wearing a holiday sweater with tacky Christmas aplacay on it, I'll scream. It's like some folks use the holidays as an excuse to disobey well honed rules of fashion. I need to give a particular co-worker a fashion citation today. Oh, fcuk it...'cuff the bi!ch!

Funny...here in NC they are predicting the same tomorrow. I'm making a huge pot of chili in my slow cooker for dinner tomorrow. And a delicious frozen cocktail for the hot tub so we can watch the snow fall.

Tomorrow morning, I'll have what is normally an hour's drive to work. If the snow settles then methinks I'm gonna be having a bit of a longer journey!! We had snow today and yesterday, but so far, it hasn't settled.
Work's Xmas party tomorrow too! "Red Hot in Rio" is the name of the event. Seen some pics of the venue and it looks pretty awesome.

Yup. As an elected politician, she would be much more constrained to what she could do or what shows she could book. We'll probably see her with her own "opinews" show on Fox or another network soon enough. Which ultimately means she will become a tool.
Just look at the poster boy of conservative media-whoring, Glen Beck. I used to love listening to his radio show when he came to this market right after 9/11. Then, Glen was a libertarian. Not a right-wing republican hiding under the libertarian name like he is now. He was entertaining and took shots are all sides equally. Now seeing him cry, rally these psychotic tea-party rallys with the nonsensical vitriol pouring from these clueless mouths, and him telling people they shoud "pray about investing in gold with Goldline.com"....I'm beyond disappointed.
It should be entertaining to see what she morphs into. I wonder if she'll sue RuPaul for that? I'm sure some right-winger is scared they might "catch the gay" if they see it thinking it's Palin.

Snow snow snow
Flurries have already started. We're supposed to get about 5 inches this afternoon, and more this evening. I had the presence of mind last night, before attending a holiday party, to make chili in my slow cooker. It already smells yummy.
I hired a harpist to play holiday carrols in the office today during our in-house party at lunch. All in all, it will be a very festive day.

You guys would cuff me, cut me, slice me, dice me, and make julienne fries if you saw what I'm wearing today. Think teddy-bear Santas. On 100% Rayon!
The thing is, some of us in the office deliberately wear tacky shirts on Fridays just for the fun of it. But the Christmas version definitely takes the cake. I'd post a pic but Princess Herbie would come after me!

That's funny. But how do you handle the commute, lunch out of the office, and errands after work while wearing that hideous shirt?
Princess Herbie? I like that.

I used to listen to Beck, Rush, Hannity.
I apologize for the Hannity, the first two are intelligent and make interesting points, Hannity is just,,,ugh.
I still love Michael Savage though. He's like your crazy old uncle with a thousand great stories, I could listen to him all day

That's cool because Will was quite affable and attractive, but my personality is more like Karen Walker.

You mean drunk and opinionated?
Now for my news. Date with Adam was cancelled. He had to cover for another employee at work, which meant the cancellation of our date. He didn't feel right about keeping me up till 10pm, and we couldn't think of any place that might still be open. So we agreed to do it later. He refused to come to my home and just chill and unwind from work. Later... we've heard that before.
There's a Christmas party at the poof bar tonight. They are serving a thank-you buffet for their patrons' business over the last year, so I intend to go to that. OM NOM NOM. Would anyone like to see pics? I can take them, no problem.

Kill me now
We've got our office Christmas party today, so it's kind of a non-work day until it starts in a couple of hours. Got someone in the area blasting Christmas music on their ipod radio... MAKE IT STOP! MY EARS ARE BLEEDING!
Some of these newer holiday songs by pop and country singers are just simply terrible. So, very, very terrible.
I think its time to change my XM radio to some metal and blast some Danzig to get people in the mood

First of all, you work in a law firm so let's call it a holiday party. We don't want to marginalize atheists or any non-Christian religions.
But I agree about disliking office parties. I prefer not to fraternize with support staff.
