    Breakfast meals

Looking for some suggestions for meals when I first wake up.

I have around an hour to prepare meals in the morning, but I'm not much of a cook. Just want some simple yet cost effective way to get full without going to mcdonalds or bk.

    All recipes/ideas welcomed.

Edit: Also forgot to mention that I work part time (IT) at an office and usually don't eat during that time. I'm bulking so it's killing my gains.

Any suggestions on food/snacks I can eat during that time? It's a very laid back place and I can eat in my cube. We also have a microwave so I can heat up food and a fridge to store it.

Sounds good and what I was thinking, although I'll probably bump it to around 6 eggs, 2 yolks. I'm 6'2 200 but I have a big appetite lol.

    My favorite Breakfast:
    6 egg whites
    2 whole eggs
2 pieces whole wheat toast w/ peanut butter
    1 cup skim milk

(I add a little bit of lowfat skim mozzerella to my eggs)

About 750 calories give or take. It's got carbs, protein, healthy fats and in a perfect combination. Great way to start the day.

These posts confuse me. Sorry if Im noob, but when you say '6 egg whites, 2 whole eggs' do you mean a total of 8 eggs a day, or out of 6 eggs, 2 are whole? and how are you going about just eating the whites anyway, do you buy those egg whites or hardboil eggs and take out yolk (I have no idea how else you take yolk out of an egg cooked)
    thanks

you need the food network lol. To seperate an egg yolk from the white the easiest way is to crack the egg into your hand and let the clear white fluid run through your fingers but keep the yellow yolk. Discard of it after all the clear fluid is gone. And yes i meant 8 eggs total. Technically its 8 egg white and 2 egg yolks. I'd be throwing 6 yolks away from 8 eggs.

Vigilante did mean 8 whole eggs, at least that's what it sounds like. I do 6 eggs, and 2 of them will be with yolk.

I take out the yolk with a spoon and put it in a cup then pour it down the drain. There probably a better way to do that, but it works for me.

You can also get liquid egg whites if you can't deal with separating the yolk.

My favourite at the moment is:
    1 cup cottage cheese
1 small punnet of greek yoghurt
    couple splashes of milk
    Whey Protein
    Cinnamon
    1/2 cup cereal

Switch this up with an omelette:
    2 whole eggs
    4 egg whites
Whisk together, add a splash of milk, pour in pan
When it starts to get quite cooked lift the corners for any run off
    Add 1/2 tomato
    a couple of mushrooms
    1/4 onion/ spring onion
Fold it over so the veges are in the middle and it cooks together

Then, top with salsa and Chives cottage cheese and serve with a couple slices of toast
