    Exclamation Bench for limited space

    Yeah i have 62'' of available space along the wall of my room and about 50'' inches out - are there any high quality, SAFE benches that anybody knows about that would be good according to these specifications? thanks!

    With that kind of space it sounds like your best bet might be dumbbells.

    You will have a hard time fitting a bar in that space even if you found a bench, plus most would suggest a power rack. If you have room for the bar width a power rack may suit your needs. Otherwise I would go with dumbbells and an adjustable bench.

    A PowerTec Multi Press will fit in your space. It is about as safe as equipment can be.

    Also, it's more versatile than PowerTec tell you it is.

    For example, it's good for:

    FID Bench Press;
    Shoulder Press;
    Shrugs;
    One Arm Rowing;
    Prone Rowing (chest supported);
    Dead Lift.

    If that's not enough, you can get the attachments to add:

    Leg Curl
    Leg Extension
    Leg Press
    Bicep Curl
    Pec Fly
    Dip

    (Disclaimer: By submitting this post I understand that a PowerTec Multi Press isn't a power rack)

    You could use the search function on this forum for very similar threads... but the quick answer is The Ironmaster Supeperbench, with its attachments. It's the best small bench out there. It is safe, and if you ever move into a bigger space, it can be used in a power rack or with a Smith machine.

    ^^^^THIS. I've always wanted to get a Multi Press from Powertec but it seems a bit pricey for me.
