DHEA by HPN... Purity Questioned as the Color Varies

Recently, I ordered several bottles of DHEA 100mg by Higher Power Nutrition. I opened several capsules to add the powder to my supplement mixture of amino acids, vitamins, herbs, etc... I noticed that the color varied from bright white, to tan, to light brown.

Does anybody know what the color should be, and what would cause the color to vary in such a way? Clearly, the product was manufactured in these varying colors as the capsules didn't appear damaged in anyway. If anybody has this product, please open several capsules to see the color the powder!

A phone call to the customer service of bodybilding.com offered a return label for a replacement. However, can we really trust the purity of this product when the color can vary so much out of a single bottle?

It is not always 100%, but I have found that for the most part you can open a capsule and empty it into a glass of water. The active minerals/ingredients or in this case the DHEA will sink to the bottom right away. The rice flour and or corn starch/filler will float for a few minutes. It works on most products. It will piss you off when you see how many "Responsible" companies cheat you.
Sorry reps. Put the advertised amount of active ingredient in your supplement and charge a little more. I would rather pay for what I am getting then not get what I paid for.
