Magnum Fitness is the manufacturer. It's a nice piece of equipment. Got it for a steal @ $600.
I'm pumped! I'm keeping it at the gym that I work out at until I put together my own gym.

If you're not going to bolt it into the floor you might want to put some weights over the back ends just for safety.
Also, if you lean forward on the pads and grab the back you can use it as a reverse hyper while holding a dumbbell between your legs (or wrapping a band around the base and your ankles... if you do this you'll want to wear long socks and use a small rope or string around the band and the bottom of your shoes to keep the band from rolling up your legs).
Congrats!

I have some people that we go to for all our our car interior stuff that Im sure would be able to make a pad up for me. Im gonna request one at my gym, and when that fails I will probably try to find the dimensions and get going. If I do Il take some pics and make a little build guide if anyone is interested

I like your piece of equipment Danny. Uh, er... I mean.
Anywho, since we are on the subject, somebody school me as to why these are so different from a manual hamstring curl. (srs) I don't mean leg curl.

Looks like that unit sells for about $940 new. Nice score, dawgbrah.Last edited by Chokenpuke; 12-15-2009 at 10:42 AM.

the difference is hip flexion. The glute ham raise bottom position has locked knees but your hip is flexed. so to get to the top you have to extend your hip and flex your knees.
a hamstring curl your body is rigid and you only flex your knees.
(note: assume you mean this exercise http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa6Ai5ty6oY )
