    DB/BB Curls WITH resistance bands

I saw someone doing this with db curls at my gym, where he did a set of regular db curls but was standing on a resistance band and curling that at the same time...what is the advantage of using this method?

Bands offer constant tension on the muscle. With basically all normal exercises there is a small window of time where the muscle is relaxed and not being exerted, somewhat minimal, so with bands it eliminates that window and keeps constant tension and offers a somewhat more productive and efficient workout u can say.
    Order tends to Disorder.

Unless the resistance band was attached to something on the floor out in front of him, this wouldn't really apply. Because if hes standing on the band, the band would be almost vertical so at the top of the motion you would still lose almost all tension.

OP, the best reason for these are that they offer variable resistance. Meaning the further you go through the ROM, the harder it gets. Its especially great if you naturally have a difficult time completing the second half of the rep and these will help overcome that sticking point that many people experience when their arm is at 90 degree angle, where force exerted is perpendicular to that of gravity, and therefore the most difficult part of the maneuvre.
