There are, but there are a lot fewer. Again, in my brief life i have been around at least 10,000 mexican kids. Nowhere near in poverty. Living far from the border (NorCal, relatively far), in some of the richest cities with the most opportunities.
I can honestly tell you, i cannot, off the top of my head, say that i ever met 1 of them that wanted a future beyond doing construction, being a nurse, driving a pickup, being a mover. Hell I can't even remember i heard someone talk about going to college.
My school is like 5% black, and some 40+% mexican. And i can name a few black kids i know have high goals, try to get good grade and stay educated, and wish to succeed.
They have futures. And they're supported by my taxes.

Go to Detroit, or DC see who you hate then.
Go to a trailer park see who you hate then.
Your always gonna be paying for some ****ing bum who lives off the system.
I dont like it either but that doesn't mean I am going to generalize people for **** ups.
I dont know what to tell you other than just because your circumstances are "proof" that no mexican american works hard or has no aspiration that doesn't mean it is true.

There is a talk radio host named Michael Savage who came up with this idea:
Since oil is so cheap down there, the mexican government should owe us 1 barrel of oil per illegal that crosses into our country. If they don't abide by these rules then we put sanctions on their country. This will force the mexican government to take their migration issue seriously

Well, alright
All i can say is, embrace bilingualism.
Once you can speak Spanish, there's too much benefits. You'll make a lot of friends. You can date hispanic girls (they're one of the sexiest in the world). You can travel to a lot of countries. you can understand what they're saying in a lot of beautiful music. You can read a lot of great literature.
there's too much benefits on learning spanish....

yeah thats not going to happen....
who else is to blame but our own goverment, doesnt take a genius to find out why California is bankrupt.. you keep handing out ebt cards to every illegal and black person in the state and expect a third of the working population to just keep the state up and running...
its ridiculous!

******* isn't a derogatory term in the misc. its just like using "is", or "his", or "it". lol
anyways, i agree, but disagree to an extent as well. you have a lot of stupid people in power in american government that want "to do the right thing", and don't give a **** because they're spending our money, not THEIR money. and then there is the issue of trying to find these people. i can tell you from personal experience that even after a raid at work, the same guys will be working the same kitchen a week later.
honestly, there is nothing to be done that will make people happy, there is no diplomatic solution, they will keep coming the way things are ran now. unless somebody with a straight up iron hand and cold demeanor takes charge, this isn't gonna go away in a timely manner. however such a leader would create a plethora of problems in itself.
all i'm tryin to say is that the problem is already out of control, and nobody wants to do what needs to be done (stop dicking around and treat this **** like the socio-economic invasion it is)~traditional wet shaving crew~ (feels good man)

Where did i say i hated anyone? Don't put words in my mouth i never said.
The second highest ethnicity in my school is Asian. I have absolutly no problem with them, and actually would be more than welcome to make it easier for them to come over. They are smart, hard working, have great family values, respect...etc. They will do nothing but contribute to this society.
The exact opposite can be said for the Mexican population here. I described it in my posts above. I'm not exaggerating or stereotyping anyone. It's the cold hard facts, and anyone who has been to at least one public school in California will tell you that.
When you have a huge hose that's running water, there will always be a few leaks here and there. That's normal, and will always exist. But when there is a huge hole which risks letting all your water out, you better step on it quick.
Your post didn't make sense at all. So instead I'll just highlight some grammatical errors you may have committed out of haste, or for other various reasons.Last edited by fireup6; 12-09-2009 at 10:25 PM.
