HIIT two days in a row?

Is it fine to do HIIT two days in a row? I am on a lifting routine where i lift monday (legs back bi) and thursdays (chest tris shoulders)... was wondering if it was ok to do HIIT on tues and wed?

I am trying to cut so this is why i am trying to squeeze in the cardio. I am also drinking a whey shake after performing HIIT.

Yes, do rest & review HIIT program, if you have recovery/wiliness to perform this exercise in a row.
