In all seriousness, I love reading about Eastern European culture. Can't wait to visit. Beautiful women, great food (from what I've had) and the landscape looks very picture-esque as well. My only caveat is that way too many Eastern Euro's are ridiculously nationalistic and constantly look down on other cultures. I have friends who are Serb and Albanian who won't even make an effort to be civil to each other just because *their parents* are from Serbia and Albania.

They did move to Serbia and kill and raped people, Kosovo WAS Serbia when they got there and started making it their own.
Wiped villages my ass, there was barely any killing(well there was but not as much as you would have us believe), if they were doing genocide there wouldn't be any Albanians in Kosovo today.

well if you want to get in depth with history and not talk about the present day. the ottoman empire ruled 3 continents with numerous races and religions. of course if you are ruled by some other nation you are not going to enjoy it.

but present day, theres no animosity. Turks and their surrounding neighbors are on good terms expect when it comes down to politics in another story. same thing with croats and bosniaks.
