How long does it take creatine to leave body?

I don't think I've ever stopped taking creatine after 7 years...LOL no one believes me when I say that, but creatine monohydrate is so cheap, and I once got a ton of it, and just sort of kept in my supplement regime since it wasnt expensive in just a plain powder form.

Anyways, I was thinking since I'm trying to get really lean...if I stop taking creatine will that help get leaner? I want my veins to show more, etc. Will stoping the creatine make a significant difference?

How long does it take after stop taking creatine, for it to completely leave the body?

If you referring to muscle creatine levels returning to basal levels before supplementation, washout takes at least a month dependant upon a number of factors but it take substantially longer.

Yes...depends how taxing your workouts are.

Depletion of creatine stores via ATP resynthesis, without replenishing them sith supplemental creatine, will eventually occur.
