1 meal a day You guiez!

Is that causing me more harm than good? I mean I read all these reports about 6+ meals a day being healthier.

Can someone give me some solid advice.

ifsrs, then no one meal a day won't harm you ut it may make you damn hungry. Why would you be doing 1 meal a day though? Maybe IF would be a good plan for you?

    This.

Higher meal frequency does not have any advantages, besides if it is a personal preference.

I don't even understand how higher meal frequency can be "Healthier" but if my "healthier" you mean lose more weight, better for metabolism ect, then that is incorrect.

Meal frequency IS irrelevant but I think regularly eating one meal a day does not foster a very good relationship with food. Especially if you're bulking trying to maintain a one meal a day frequency could distort your hunger signals and give you problems down the line (especially if you start cutting again).

Cliffs: no real problem with it but IMO not ideal.

I know from my experiences that eating one meal a day while on a deficit works wonders for me. Otherwise I am constantly hungry and grumpy all day. One meal keeps me full and satisfied all day

    That's the point.

Pick a meal frequency. Any meal frequency. Some folks feel great. Some feel the opposite way. That's why people should select the meal frequency that works best for them and not stick to an arbitrarily prescribed meal frequency.
