Well I apreciate you saying that you "read it somewhere" instead of passing it off as the definite truth. However I (as well as science) am a firm believer that you can have as many calories in one meal as you like, it will have no affect on your body composition if you were to have 3 800 calorie meals vs. 6 400 calorie meals.

When it comes to calories it makes more sense to just look at it from a daily perspective. In fact with some diets you can look at it from a more weekly perspective.

Im not sure of an exact number but I know that for me i dont like to usually go over like 1000 ish in a single sitting (which would be a pretty decent meal)(i usually take in about 4-5 hundred/ meal) and after that many its going to take a while for you body to process all of those cals, carbs nutrients etc.. and the other problems that follow are lack of appetite (following such a large meal) and possible energy loss.. I know that usually when i take in over 50g or protein in one meal i feel pretty lethargic.. But again you might just think you are eating a lot and not actually be taking in to much everyone is different including their stomachs.. you should really be trying to split up your intake evenly throught out the day and avoid gorging yourself 2-3 times with snacks in between.. it allows for better absorption and I remember reading it helps keep your metabolism in gear which =(hopefully) less fat gain/retention

what does your typical day of eating look like?? and im guessing since you say your eating so much you are trying to bulk??

Well ****, then I guess I'm screwed with my 1800 calorie breakfast. It's just too much!

But I digest it all, there's no intestinal discomfort, and it's convenient, cheap and delicious. Kind of hard to argue that it's 'too much' then...

Protein absorption various based on the needs of your body at the time.
There is no set number on this. It can vary per time of day as well and after various activities.

There is no calorie limit per meal as long as the daily figures meet your goals.

There is no maximum protein, fat, or carbs per meal... your body will absorb what you eat.
    I like having fun.

Do you want snacks during the day?
What are your "Goal" calories (on your home page here)?
If you want snacks, how many?

You can use these answers like this:

Snacks? Yes. How many? 2 Goal calories? 1300

We'll set snacks at 150 calories each. With 2 snacks, that comes to 300 calories. 1300-300 leaves you with 1000. 1000/3 meals = 333.33 calories per meal.

If you work out during the day you can portion those work out calories however you want between the meals and snacks.

After a few days if you find you are hungrier in the morning than the evening - take some cals from dinner and put them towards breakfast. Or vice versa if you're hungry at night
