Classic bent over row vs inclined bench bent over row, which is better?

I was wondering which of these exercises was best: the classic barbell bent over row or the barbell row where you lay facing down on an incline bench and pull the barbell up to touch the bench? Wouldn't the second one help you keep your lower back out of the movement?

Yes ,which means BB bent over row is more of a compound movement ,and can be better for routines with whole body exercises.

    Opinions will vary.

Try both and see which you prefer.

Alot of people like chest supported rowing movements because it allows you to isolate the back better without worrying about your lower back etc.

I think the db version of the lying row is much better. It allows you to move the weight in a natural arc.

Classic bb row all the way for developing brute power and musculature.. however on the lying or (prone) row with DBs you can help isolate certain parts of the back muscles are lot more effectively.

The thing about classic bent over rows is that most of the time i also feel it in my lower back. Is there any adjustments to form which should be done to prevent this?
