I was wondering which of these exercises was best: the classic barbell bent over row or the barbell row where you lay facing down on an incline bench and pull the barbell up to touch the bench? Wouldn't the second one help you keep your lower back out of the movement?

Classic bb row all the way for developing brute power and musculature.. however on the lying or (prone) row with DBs you can help isolate certain parts of the back muscles are lot more effectively.
