Ok, well I would like my diet to contain various nutritional items, such as Bananas, apples, grapes, and other green vegetables, also kidney beans, etc. I would like to know how this plan would work out.
Whenever I feel hungry I eat a banna
At breakfast, banana
At lunch, banana
At diner, kidney beans with rice and a banana
I know someone who did this and they lost a lot of weight but I would like to know if it is healthy to do this for a few weeks. Basically your eating a banana all the time and sometimes he would throw in kidney beans with white rice for lunch and a banana. Just let me know.
Thanks,
Justin

This is not healthy, especially at 14. You should be able to loose weight with a proper diet, cardio, and weight training. No need for these crazy weight loss diets.

Well, I don't really care for what it takes it has to be done, even if a lot of muscle has to be sacraficed. I can gain muscle easily after wards as I have done in the past, muscle is no problem. Especially if I need to lose it, I want the easiest way to loose weight without much exercise, I am too busy for exercise. Exercise is not an option for my busy life.

At 14, your life is NOT busy. I don't care what you say. Join a hockey/ basketball/ football/ swim/ squash team. It's a fun way of losing weight. Just make sure you're eating enough protein. Atleast 1g per body lbs. If you have to, wake up a half hour early to go for a walk or jog. If you do this diet you're talking about, you're going to harm your body. There's a lot of information on this forum. Look around for a little bit before deciding what you want to do.

Okay... Your idea isn't all that bad it just needs balance. Let me tell you what I did to lose 50 pounds. My diet is simple... I can eat whatever I can kill or grow. I try and balance it.
Breakfast (If you don't have time for breakfast, you really don't want to lose weight...Show me someone that doesn't eat breakfast and I will show you someone that stays up too late snacking and is overweight!!!!):
3-4 eggs (I like fried but you can do scrambled or cold hard boiled if you are in a hurry)
banana
apple
Snack: a banana
Lunch: Whole wheat roast beef sandwich with lettuce, tomato and a slice of cheese
Snack: an apple
Dinner: Big piece of protein (steak, chicken, fish... as much as you need to be full), 2 cups of dark green veggies (asparagus, broccoli, etc..)
Snack: a few almonds... a banana if you really need it. A good texas ruby red grapefruit is excellent for curbing hunger at night.
Drink water ALL DAY!!!!
If you can stay on a diet like this and stay away from all the crap you are probably eating now, you will lose weight!
The next step is to get some weight training in....then add some cardio.
NO EXCUSES!!!! DO IT!!!!

being lazy isnt the way to losing weight, u say u have no time, bull****. also being lazy by not doing any cardio or weights and barley eating is retarded and even if u do do it and lose weight ull look skinny with no muscle and no one likes that. you have to comit urself to this lifestyle. u sed once u lose the weight u dont care if its muscle bc u can gain muscle easily, it sounds like uve done this before but failed and gained it back and now trying to lose it again. this is not somthing u can stick with and when u go back to actually eating like a normal human being u will gain the weight back

kid i work on the oil rigs, i work anywhere from 8-14 hours a day, and it's physical labour and i still hit the gym 1.5-2 hrs a night 5 times a week, trust me buddy time management.
Plus you need a better diet then than that ****. Try this, get up early enough and stop being lazy, and make a bowl of oatmea and 4 boiled eggs for breakfast, for lunch eat a tuna sandwhich and an apple, and whatever mom makes for dinner, go for the higher protein and fiber portions of the dinner, chill on the carbs , and if your hungry in between eat your bannana and some almonds or peanut butter"Restlessness is discontent, discontent is the beginning of all progress, show me a thoroughly satisfied man and i'll show you a failure" -Thomas Edison

I doubt that taking four hours out of your week for exercise will have any sort of negative impact on your future software-related career. What it will do is most likely improve your health, attractiveness, social life, energy, happiness, longevity, etc. You won?t end up going to college looking like a professional World of Warcraft player.
You need both a sensible diet and exercise.

This is nothing- you made time to sit around and gain the weight- man up and find time for YOU! If you want to loose the weight you have to make an effort. Eat if you have time? WAKE UP EARLIER! Breakfast takes 10 mins to make! And if you are struggling that badly for time, make a protein shake with oats and fruit mixed in to take with you. You have to be sensible about it. Don't think that is "diet" will cure all your problems and make you magically loose 50 pounds.... at 14 you should talk to a nutrionatist, or some one at school who can help you make healthy choices and change your lifestyle so you can maintain the weigh loss. C++ certification takes brains- apply those smarts to your nutritional choices as well.

What?
What your doing is called a crash diet...and you know why they call it that? cause....it cant be maintained....one day you'll fall hard...and pig out on all kinds of **** you shouldn't....Dude...find a healthy diet rich in protein, veggies, whole grains...low in sugars and fats.....drink water instead of soda......that's the reasonable way to lose the weight for the long haul.....good Luck....Self
While liftin duh weights I yell out..."You sexy beast"...."Squeeze metal for papa".

Very well said kepitt. I've tried going to people at my school but all they have to say is, "Talk to your parents about it." I've already done that. They said they can get me the food and stuff I need but not the equipment as we are kind of tight on money because of the econmy. The one and only thing I'm sure that is holding me back is, is that I can't make up a routine of eating. I am not really sure what is good for you since a lot of it is a lie. I know fruits and stuff are. If I could get a weekly routine down then it wouldn't be bad. Like if I could just break parts of my life into timely manner type things like for example:
Wake up: 6:30 A.M
Get Shower: 6:40 A.M
Get Dressed: 7:00 A.M
Eat Breakfast:7:10 A.M
Brush Teeth:7:30 A.M
etc.
If I could do something like that which I am sure I could it would be nice. But I just need help with the foods and stuff like what to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. I don't want to just sit around and do nothing and gain a pound or so a month. Because I don't even really gain weight any more it just stays at it's current weight. I already know to cut things like this out of my life
Mashpotatoes
Pastas
Soda
White Bread
Junk Food - Chips, Icecream, etc.
Fast Food
and stuff like that. That wouldn't be a problem and I really like rice cooked with Kidney beans that is just delicious and I know it isn't bad for you that's actually good for you. The one thing that got my big are mash potatoes, I would eat bowl after bowl because I was basically raised on them. But when I got my first computer in 4th grade that's when I started to get addicted to runescape and stuff but before that I was outside everyday. Since them I am now in 8th grade and barely go outside. It's just so ridiculous. I remember I started going from 144 to 160 to 165, it got out of hand. Also at my age I thought 144 was heavy but if I was still that now with me being 5'7" I would be really skinny. But I need help, and I am sure you guys can give that to me.

this his would be a better idea for you join a sports team or something your a kid dude, have fun while you can have alot of it just eat what seems good and a variety of it, if it walks around and looks like it would be a cool pet..eat it, if i comes outta the ground and still has dirt on it wash the dirt off and eat it, if it comes out of a box and says pillsbury on it it's probably not the best choice

your BMR is 2245 so eating around 1700 calories a day would help you loose weight. It is all about balance. Make everything you put into your body work for you. Choose whole grains, lean proteins, and greens. Join a website like fitday.com and between searches for your C++ enter foods into it for the next day so you can plan your meals the day before. Tell your parents what you are doing so they can help you reach your goals at the dinner table. I like to make food on sunday and prepackage it for the week. That way I can just grab a tupperwear and go!

Most people have a low allergy to lots of things and never know it. You've probably used that excuse to avoid green vegetables your whole life.
Anyway.... You've got some great posts here that have done everything for you but got you off your ass and started.
When are you going to start? You've been checking out this site for months and yet you haven't started.
Either do it or quit wasting everyone's time.... We all know how busy you are....
(That was tough love... man up and get your ass in gear!)

Actually I haven't even looked at this site since I joined it. But now I'm back because I had some things come up. My allergy isn't high to green vegetables but I still brake out in hives. I have to go to school but I already have done stuff. I've already gotten the food and everything so that doesn't matter.

There is not much nutritionally that will replace green veggies, like someone else said- look into a good multi, can you take something with a vegg complex? or is that out too? You can do beans and fruits. They are higher calorie then veggs. Can you eat eggplant or squash? Pumpkin, cranberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, bananas, apples? anything like that? What about avacados? they are a great healthy fat source since you are allergic to peanuts. YOU MUST HAVE FAT IN YOUR DIET. do not think you don't need it ok??!!!? every night before bed I eat Cottage Cheese with Peanut butter in it. and I snack on almonds all day. Factor a good fat into your diet before you build the rest to make sure you get it in ok?

Not a problem. I enjoy helping people live a healthier lifestyle. You are young and you need to take care of yourself now so you can enjoy life longer!
Can you use oils? like olive oil? My favorite is walnut oil- but if you have a nut allergy you might not want to go with that. Avocados are a fruit that is a healthy source of fat. they are yummy! Guagamole is made with them. I've attached the wikipedia page for you to look at- you can find them at super Wal Marts most times.
