    What to eat before the gym?

    anyone wanna give me any suggestions of a meal to eat about 1hour or so before i go to the gym? just looking for some ideas on a good meal to have because i usually just eat 3 eggs and some macaroni, which doesnt really do anything but stop my stomach from growling. Do not include any pwo / protein shakes either im looking for actual food to take before taking a shake & going to the gym. thanks

    Just eat foods which you feel help YOU perform at your best. Some foods which work well for some guys can make others feel like walking death, regardless of how healthy said foods are. Does the macaroni and eggs help you get through a good session? Do you have enough energy to make it through to the last rep? If yes, then why change it?? Nothing realy wrong with it- carbs, protein and good fat. Perhaps up the portions for greater energy. If you were really set on changing it, try something like a tuna sandwich on wholemeal bread with some almonds, or half a cup of oats with a scoop of way, tbsp of peanut butter and banana mixed in

    You want fast releasing carbs... Milk is the ideal pre workout drink. I now throw in an apple as it contains l-arginine to give me that little bit more pump.

    Reccommend raisins to.

    A wholewheat bagel with a chicken breast with cottage cheese in
    2 shakes
    2 pieces Toast with pb&j
    over 800cals most likely
