Oh lawd am I embracing the suck today! So far down to 143lbs with a start weight of 148lbs on Monday. It's about TOM so the 148lbs probably had some water weight attached to it, well with a 5lb drop in a bit over two days I would think so .
Good news is today is free meal day! Not sure what I will have but I see a nice starchy carb in my future and then a full body workout in the 6-8 rep range with maybe 3 sets and will include box squats, sumo deads, bench press, over head press and bb rows, maybe some abs if I feel like it. That should cover a full body workout nicelyIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Hey there mama!!
I wanted to poke in and say hey while I had a few minutes to browse. I love the pics of Liam with his birthday cake - what a little sweetie! I can't believe he is hitting his first birthday, time really flies doesn't it? (Long mommy sigh... snap all of the mental photos you can - I'm struggling with this being my last baby!)
Awesome job on the workouts! I've been trying to get at least one all out full body in each Sunday morning and possible a short workout in on Fridays if I can manage a trip to the gym. The rest of my time is generally cardio and body-weight stuff at home (and dealing with awful DOMS from Sunday ha!). I know exactly what you mean about wanting to throw more on the bar but you don't want to kill yourself with terrible form. It's hard not to be hard on yourself when you wistfully think back to what you used to do, but have faith in the journey and progress!! (that's what I keep telling myself anyway haha!)
Sorry you have been dealing with some crazy stuff lately (and crazy people) but glad you got your unemployment all worked out. Nothing is ever easy is it??
Keep up the awesome work(outs) and nutrition!!Please join me on my journey to find balance:

Hey there MM!!! Glad to see you about
I'm taking tons of mental pics along with vids and actual pics. It's going by way too fast for me and I miss his days of baby cooing and not being mobile lol.
You are doing a heck of a lot better than I did post baby. With my commute and work schedule I had zero time or energy to even think of adding workouts in. Keep up the great work and we will both be there in no time!
So far no further issues with the crazy person. I only hope that it continues since it will make life better for everyone involved.
I'm actually doing pretty good on this diet and hit my first workout on it. That post is comin upIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

The low cals are getting to me. I've gone into ketosis a couple of times and man me no likey! lol After this I will probably never go under 100g's of carbs again.
Last nights free meal was jambalaya, appetizers at Gordnon Biersch and a beer. Didn't go crazy or anything up a couple of lbs which is expected. After this I am so going on a sushi bender! If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Almost two weeks into RFL and I was hoping for better results. So far I have lost maybe 6lbs, might be more since I'm still holding some water from Wed. I'm still going to stay the course but I was hoping to be in the 130's after the two weeks, still have two days so it might happen.

Thanks Lori!!!
I'm just to the point where I am looking at food and the fact that things still fit the same and asking "Is this worth it?" Not really noticing any changes but maybe 6lbs isn't enough with how much I need to lose to notice a difference? Meh, I'm just hangry lol.If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

That looks really good E, nice and controlled, coming down to correct place on chest and not going way high by neck like many people do.
Best of luck with the wt loss, 6lbs in two weeks is fine, understand the hunger though lol, may the willpower of 10,000 Spartan warriors be with you.Current PRs:

It's crazy because I have so much to lose and I was hoping for a little bit more. I doubt I could get to that level of leanness, without being underweight and icky looking lol. There is no way I could do it for longer than four weeks I think. Of course I have never been below 25% bf and I have crap for muscles so yeah, I'm going to have to either recomp or bulk after this. I'm hoping with the free meal and refeeds I might just gain a little mass like Lyle says is possible (ud2 type of stuff) but I will be happy with just preventing muscle loss
I like the direction my BP is heading. I would really love to get it over 100lbs eventually but I am determined to make sure I have great form.
It's amazing how adding that 10lbs made it a little harder to keep that from happening. I keep the weight the same until I am satisfied with me form so tomorrow or Monday I will be working on that, but I totally KWYM :0
Ugh, this diet is hardcore but hopefully I will see some results soon. It's a little disheartening that I haven't noticed anything yet, maybe a big whoosh is coming When I feed Liam I look at the grilled cheese sammich that I made him and drool. The bright side of this diet is I have two days a week to look forward to something yummy and carby.
I haven't mentioned this but my left foot has been killing me. At first I thought it was that pesky Morton's Neuroma but the pain is up towards my ankle. Feels like when you have to pop a joint and it causes intense pain until you do but not matter what I can't get it to pop. It dulls when I take Ibuprofen and will go away and come back. I worry that it still might be the nerve and if it is I might have to have surgery to remove the bugger. Ugh, not looking forward to that if I have too.If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Oh man - I just died a little inside when I read 600 cals! You are really rocking out the workouts on the low cals - good for you! I really enjoy reading material on Lyle's site so I have considered potentially attempting one of his plans after I'm done nursing but we'll see what life is like at that point in time
You are doing awesome sticking to form over increases first - and it's looking good! Keep the faith - I think you're doing fantastic and the 130s are right around the corner (I'm stuck at about 172 right now and can't wait to just get into the 160s!)Please join me on my journey to find balance:

I die a little inside every meal lol. I'm only doing this for the challenge, otherwise I would be doing about 1600 cals and continuing with my program for the next month and then move onto something like BGB or 5/3/1 bodybuilding routine. The first part of the challenge I was eating at around 2000 cals in hopes of recomping a little so the last four weeks I could stand to lose a little muscle, which I think has happened but not too bad. I made sure Liam was done self weaning before moving to RFL and maybe one day I might do UD2 when I'm lean enough lol.
This time around I really wanted to concentrate on form so when I move into mass building I only have that to worry about Not lifting for over a year put me back into newbie gain territory so I want to milk that for as much as I can
I really want to be in the 130's, it's been years since I have bee consistently there. You will make it into the 160's no worries. Weight loss after Liam was weird, 20lbs the first two months and the last ten took months. Then again I was dog tired, working and commuting for over 12 hours a day and my work messed with my ability to pump so I stopped burning the cals that I was while on maternity leave.
An update with the world of Erica.
I took a three day break from the diet Sat night to Monday. Stuck mostly to the diet during the day and had two pieces of pizza and 7 wings Sat night, had some potatoes and pasta on Sunday and Monday I had Guinness stew, mashed potatoes and a Bud Light Platinum for St. Patrick's day. Only went up a couple of lbs and am actually down one today
I worked out on Monday. Nothing major happened, increased squats by 10lbs and the deads look a little better.
I am preparing the house for my parents arrival. We are moving them and my sister here next week, I'm pretty excited about that Having some family around will be awesome.
Started the self tanner and so far its looking good. I just need to even some areas out but nothing major.
Random does of cute:

My friend finds the most awesome pictures
We got him a black guitar to match daddies. He is obsessed with it and we figured might as well. Jim's wants hi to be a drummer but he might end up playing guitar or both, Jim can play drums a bit so it's not far fetched.
My parents are in NM and are not doing very well and my sister... will if they moved she wouldn't have any place to go. Since it looks like we will be here a while and the economy is much better here my parents expressed an interest in moving. We all agree Liam would do better with some family around so the decision was made They are hoping to get a house close to us since housing is cheaper out here. Might get some date nights with hubby finally lol.If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.

Ugh, I'm back to wondering why I'm doing RLF. My weight is bouncing all over the place and nothing is fitting better. I'm sticking to my 126.5g's of protein a day, fat and carbs are minimal. Maybe I need to increase my water intake, it's been pretty minimal lately. I'm still going to truck through it but man reading some of the posts on Lyle site depresses me on how quickly people with less to lose than me can drop weight faster. I took some pics yesterday I don't see any difference from the starting pics i"m going to end this challenge no matter what but I'm thinking how I planned this was not a good idea.

What about potassium? Unbalanced electrolytes can cause water retention real bad!!! Low carbs + lots of sodium + not enough potassium can be bad. Some people use the fake salt that has lots of potassium in it, or take a supplement.

I'm hoping so too. I don't want three weeks of crap workouts and low cals to be for naught!
Today is refeed day! So far I have had half a peanut butter sammich, a regular coke and I have plans for some chicken quesadillas and probably rice or pasta. Gotta figure out how I cram all that in but I've been extremely hungry so I don't think that will be an issueIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.
