Figure competitors look in the offseason

Would you say most go up in weight and are not as defined? I mean, a lot of women who see these fitness competitors want to look like them in these photoshoots but... it's probably really hard or nearly impossible to maintain year round... do these women become a lot less defined or are they still cut? or what? I'm just curious...

Most competitors weigh about 10 pounds more in the offseason and are not as defined. It's not healthy to maintain that low amount of body fat year round for most people.

    Look at IronFigure's bodyspace.

You can see from the pics how she looks in offseason and on stage. Of course, she not as lean in the offseason as on stage (impossible to maintain that low bodyfat), but she is still incredibly lean compared to an average chick. She must be 15-16% body fat in the offseason (guessing).

I think this is true for a lot of competitors. The ones I know stay within a few weeks of competition shape. Are they as defined as they are on stage? No. Are they defined? Yes.

This...They may not be drained of water and THAT defined all year round, but they still look kickbutt! Even in the offseason, most competitors have a physique that is highly motivating and desired.

I definitely agree! Gorgeous woman, and an incredible physique (both on and off stage).

I think the norm is most women are about 10-15 lbs heavier in their off season. Some go even heavier than that. Women who have been training longer, dieting longer, competing longer, have more muscle maturity and look more defined in an off season then the females who haven't been doing it as long.

    Just my thoughts.
