You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

S'up, Steve. Hope you're well.

Thanks for checking in on me guys.
My training is in a bit of limbo right now. Still trying to work out the heart rhythm issue with my doc. I will resume my workouts on Saturday and see how it goes.

Thanks, guys. Means a lot!
Here's the update:
For the last week I have been letting my body get acclimated to the increased dose of the meds. So I have been a good boy and stayed away from the weights. While all of this has been going on, I have also been on a mini-cut to make sure I didn't balloon up.
Today I got into the gym for the first time in 9 days and did a full body workout at approximately 65% of my normal working weights. All body parts were hit with a 3x8 scheme using my favorite exercise. All went well. No heart rhythm issues, and more importantly no heart attack (sorta srs).
I will do moderate cardio tomorrow, then do my normal chest workout on Saturday and my normal leg training on Sunday. I report back to the doc on Monday with the results.
This all sucks and it is very frustrating, but its hand I have to play right now. I'm not giving in.

Thanks for the support, my friends.
Here is an update:
The heart issue has taken longer to correct than I originally anticipated. I feel like I have lost 3 months of training already, and I have no idea when my normal training regimen will start up again.
Because of this, I do not think there will be any way to train for a show in 2013 and take the stage with the necessary improvements. Right now my training is pretty scaled back with the purpose of just trying to hold onto the muscle I already have.
At this point there does not seem to be much of a reason to log my workouts since I am playing them by ear depending upon several factors. I guess you could say that this is the most instinctive my training has ever been, and it is not by choice.
As soon as I get some resolution to this and get things back on track, I will start posting workouts again.
I sure didn't see this coming...

Plastic trophies are cool and all, but in the grand scheme of things.....
Remember, your family and friends really don't care how of those things your extremely ripped physique can accumulate. Get yourself well Steve!

I know it must be hard but stay postitive and keep doing what you can. The good news is once you get this squared away it should not take much to get back to where you were, muscle memory is pretty amazing. On the positive side if you can't compete in 2013 it will give you more time to improve your physique to compete in 2014.
