    Is eating too much pasta bad for you? (serious)

    I'm bulking right now and have been eating about 200-300g of carbs from pasta alone a day. Is this unhealthy? Gains are very nice

    I think whole wheat pastas are just a scam. I remember comparing the nutritional chart on the box of whole wheat and regular pastas, and they are almost identical. See for yourself next time when you are shopping, I could be wrong thou.

    don't really see anything wrong with it other than fiber content.

    whole wheat pasta fixes that.

    Food wise.

    Everything should be in moderation.It also depend on the type of pasta your eating, whole wheat pasta is healthier as normal pasta contains a lot of white flour which is bad for you.The amount you're eating depends on how active you are ,but there is no need to overload on carbohydrates.I think 80% of your daily eating is supposed to be made up of carbs & wih getting enough protein & fats to balance them out is unhealthy.If he means by eating pasta once-a-day then of course there is nothing wrong with that , but by "too much" if he means eating lots a day then yes.

    if your not going to burn them they will be stored, thats why you need them for lifting, this way your body doesnt use the protein you just ate for energy and that can go to building muscle
