ok. so i got a 120kg bench (5kg PR) and a 200kg deadlift (7.5kg PR). was too ****ed after deadlifts to do squats so i'll max them on saturday.
best thing is both my previous PR's were at a meet about 5 weeks ago with a loose suit on. lifts today were done in shorts and a singlet with some chalk. also videoed the deadlift for form checks, but my mate videoed it upside down on my phone T_T it was smooth as **** though
given a conservative 165 squat PR on saturday, i'll be 25kg away from qualifying for the APL junior nationals in my state next year in mayLast edited by guflab; 11-18-2009 at 03:11 AM.

GJDM. i maxed 105 bench last week but i did that after squats and was feeling kinda tired that day. im going to try 110kg bench this saturday. deadlift is a bit above 180, and squat is like 155ish.

Hey man where are you gettin the information from for your sheikos?
Could you post a link?
I'm gonna do one as soon as my current programme is over, I've found a routine but have no idea about what number it is. I'm gonna do it for 3/4 weeks, take it light for a week then max after that. Really hope I see some good gains, I think I might even start a journal about it to track how it goes.
I'm psyched about the volume in this training, seems so intense, can't wait to get started!
@ Martyn - those lifts are sick for your age mate, about the same if not more than me! And I bet I've been training longer too (~2 years now, only the last one seriously though)
seriously, the best username in the misc. srs. lol every time....
Good job, man.
I pr'd today too. Did 320 on deadlift, I currently weigh 145, so that's more than 2x my body weight.
I'm bulking to 170 so we'll see what happens."Life's not a bitch. Life is a beautiful woman. You only call her a bitch 'cause she won't let you get that pussy. Maybe she didn't feel y'all shared any similar interests, or maybe you're just an ******* who couldn't sweet talk the princess." - Aesop Rock, "Daylight".

not really JUST getting into it. been lifting properly for just over a year now. but ive always had a big build and stacking on weight and mass just happened while i was strength training. having said that, im yet to plateau out in any significant way (no more then 2 or so weeks) on anything except bench.
and my bench has always sucked. takes me a long time to make gains on it.
