Friday is my balls to the wall day. My heaviest workout day of the week by far. I woke up to the mailman knocking at my door and he had a few goodies for me.

I popped a few caffeine pills in the morning and they are "slow release", but they were punctured so the slow release hit me all at once. I felt like running ten miles within 30 minutes of popping these LOL.

Anyways, I skipped my preworkout stim because my heart would have literally pumped out of my body if I added anything else.

PRE WORKOUT

Golden Gains by Controlled Labs



Taste: Surprisingly good. I'm not an apple/apple pie fan, but this was good. 9/10

Mix: Mixed good enough. I tend to add less water because I don't like to bloat before my workout. 8/10

Other: Would have liked to try a full sample. The sample I got was only a fraction of a serving. I didn't get a chance to get in on the black friday deal, but I will probably pick up a tub or two when my funds aren't as tight.

Overall: I really liked the profile and taste was good. Solid 9/10;

Chocolate Peanut Butter Whey Isolate by SciFit



Taste: Not bad. Tried with water for pre workout. Water retains a little bit more of the peanut butter than milk. 8.5/10

Mix: Mixed well. 9/10

Other: Picked this up on wheycheap.com, bought (3) 5lb tubs, had a lot invested in these and didn't know what to expect. I am happy with the purchase.

Overall: Great profile, good price, 9/10

INTRA WORKOUT

My workout was running a little bit longer than expected, so I decided to try a free sample of BCAA I received.

Taste: It was suppose to have a blue raspberry flavor, but the only thing blue raspberry about it was the color. Taste wasn't horrible for BCAA powder though. 6.5/10

Mix: Very surprised with the mixability of this product. Most of my previous BCAA powder didn't mix at all. This was a surprise. 9/10

Overall: Not bad for free and the mixability was a pleasant surprise. 7.5/10

POST WORKOUT

Anator Fruit Punch by Muscletech



Taste: I've read some bad reviews for taste so I was worried, but I didn't think it was bad at all. Decent flavor. 7.5/10

Mix: Mixed well, nothing to complain about. 8.5/10

Other: I picked these up on bb.com at a price of buy 1 get 2 free. Was worried with the muscletech brand, but I am pleased with my purchase.

Overall: Very good price, not a bad profile, works great for my post workout carbs. 8/10

Taste: Not bad. Tried with milk for post workout. Milk gave it more of a caramel taste, water retains a little bit more of the peanut butter. 8.5/10

Mix: Mixed well. 9/10

Other: Will probably consistently use milk with this product as a personal preference.

Overall: Great profile, good price, 9/10
