    adderall pre workout?

    i got prescribed adderall and am about to start taking it.....

    so far, no preworkout supps have done anything for me....so i am wondering about taking adderall preworkout....

    would it be beneficial when used prior to working out?

    Same here bro... prescribed... I would take it in the morning. depending on your blood pressure just watch it close. plan on getting mad cut up drinking plenty of water while on it even more so working out. I'm talking at least 2 gallons a day maybe more.

    youre going to be cutting while on it?

    i am going to be at maintenance/slightly above maintenance for the next few months.....you think its dangerous to take just before a workout?

    I wouldn't recommend it. I've been diagnosed ADD since 1st grade and have taken Adderall for 16 years. It's hit or miss sometimes when you take it preworkout you have a great workout. Other times it makes you fatigue more quickly. Really up to you but it's better not to, as it's a vasoconstrictor which means your smooth muscle will contract leading to higher blood pressure, less blood to your muscles, etc. My $.02.

    I used to pop them for fun at military school. Tried working out on it, felt like my heart was going to explode and no matter how much i warmed up, couldn't get enough blood going to my muscles. It just made my heart feel like it was going to explode ven more.

    Depends how long have you been taking it, have you had a meal between when you took it and the workout, how much are you taking vs how much you weigh?

    i havent taken the stuff for about 2 months once before....like 7 months ago....

    i would take about 60mg a day...and i weigh 180....

    at first it worked great, but not so much after the first month.....i think i have a high tolerance (pwo supps also do NOTHING for me)

    I don't know that much about it. I would say wait atleast until you feel the effects go off. If you are taking adderall because of add/adhd some Pre workout supplements have a "focus" blend in it that helps you focus as well as give you energy.

    I am not 100% sure on this so go do some research but i heard you can fix whatever problem you have and replace adderall with some kind of EFA/DHA blend that has the right ratio as most commercial fish oils do not.

    That would also be much healthier for you.

    I'd say weight 1 hour after you feel the initial boost it gives you (at the minimum). I would also eat a small meal between the pill and a workout. On the above posters comment, well if we find out Adderall is bad for our health and it is proven conclusively then the OP and I can be together on the massive class action lawsuit that would ensue .

    Never said adderrall was bad I just said it is not healthy.

    Plus it is true that taking those EFA/DHA could benefit your health. Those are found in fish oils which have many benefits but most fish oils don't have the right ratio.

    I take 2g of Fish oil 1g in the mornin 1g at night. During the day i take in about 10g of Omega-3's from Flax oil, so i'm getting my EFA's (ALA/EPA/DHA).

    taking adderall for pre w/o purposes is about the dumbest thing ive ever heard.

    if youre taking it for other reasons, ok, but you know its an amphetamine, right?

    i was on adderrall once for a few months before....quit it cold turkey with no problems.....but i will try to wait as long as possible between taking a dose of it and working out

    Duh it is but for now the pharm manufacturer making adderall has bribed the regulatory agencies into stating it has shown no adverse health effects. So until there is conclusive data we can't file class action lawsuits. My sis is a lawyer and my dad's a PharmD.

    I've been taking Adderall at 20mg for about a year. I recently quit after noticing some horrible worsening of prostatitis symptoms. I was able to determine that Adderall caused painful and awkward flow for me.

    Additionally my vision was beginning to deteriorate and there were some active visual distortions affecting my daily life.

    These symptoms have cleared although I'm still affected by bladder problems. I would give Adderall some serious thought because for as much as it really helps with studying the physical sides were a nightmare for me.

    There are sides of adderall, as i've taken it for 16 years now the ones you speak of are nearly non-existent to me. But yes i agree it's better to not take it.

    I have a perscription, but I don't take it. It interferes with working out and don't expect to gain weight when on it. It is a Amphetamine. You get similar effects to spped when you don't have add. Heavy appetite suppressant

    it's an amphetamine. Of course it will help you lift more. If you want to use it as a preworkout supp, you're going to have to get past the time release function that the pill is. Just crush up the pill and those little ball thingies that are in some of them. You'll need a much lower dose because you're going to get all the effects at once.
