Cybergenics

I did the 2 month program years ago right before my 1st contest and had GREAT results because I followed it word by word.

Years later I noticed the company closed. Does anyone know

1) Why they closed
2) What was in their supplements (what were each of them)the labels only stated Phase I, II, III, IV, etc...
3) Did the company reopen under a different name
4) Is anyone interested in the video (I have 2 copies, 1 I will send)

I also started with the Cybergenics Workout when i first started lifting about 8 years back.

It was brutal doing that workout after getting up at 5:30 to lift boxes for 3 hours then deliver furniture all day.

Got me in shape though

Did you get cracking knees and elbows too? LMAO I honestly am used to intense workouts, that was just too bizarre for me. Super slow negatives to failure, drop set to another slow negatives to failure, supersetted with another exercise, super slow negatives to failure, then drop again to super slow negatives to failure!!!

Legs was a horrific nightmare. Super slow negatives to failure on squats, drop the weight, repeat, do "jumps" to failure, do sissy squats to failure, do flexing.

I spent anywhere from 3-4 hours at the gym due to the slow negatives we did.

Was there any cardio involved? I don't think so, from what I remember.

I'm pretty sure they closed because the founder (Scott Chinery) sold the company and they proceeded to run it into the ground. Lack of vision for the future of the company and really didn't care about athletes, etc. I remember looking at the isolates and most of the contained B-vitamins, assorted vitamins and minerals and some herbal and glandular extracts. Nothing special really, just nutritional support.

So what is it that gave me crazy results?

Again, no cardio was done, yet I dropped a very good amount of bodyfat and made some muscular gains (I was only 7 months into bodybuilding). The biggest gain was in strength.

Was it the diet, the workout, the supps? I know what you're going to say, a combo of all three. But something had to stand out....

Ha I thought I was the only one here that ever tried the cybergenics stuff. I still do some stuff from the workout. Like that go to failure in squats, drop the weights and then drop again and then do those jumps till you are ready to drop..

You know I think that would be agreat workout if you were on a PH cycle. I don't think the supps that came with it were worth crap but on one+ your body really could handle it....and you have the recovery time to.....think thats what I'll use next time.

LMFAO....I remember jumping and everyone looking at me like the biggest *******, we didn't care at all. Jumping and after a few jumps landing and falling on our knees or asses and crumbling down like LARGE MARGE planting her fat ass on a chair! Too damn funny!

Magic? I really don't know. From what I remember of the diet it was essentially a carb-loading and carb-depleting cycle. And the workout focused on heavy negatives. It worked though, even though it seems it shouldn't have. It could have been because you were a relative beginner and anything would have worked for you.

heres a link it you want to give it another shot:

You guys don't think, besides obvious amino acids, "fat burners", vitamins and other common supps, there was some funky stuff in the supps, which is why they never actually stated on their labels what each of their supps is?

I would guess the super slow negatives, which I heard affects your slow twitch muscle fibers, is what really caused one to grow. But what caused the fat burning (with no cardio)? The carb load/deplete? The supps? The workout? All the reps and drop sets and super sets and negatives, yes, burned calories, but never to the same effect as cardio!

By the way, anyone remember the "Big Beyond Belief" training program? Hot Fuel? Russian Bear?

I agree with the flexing part, its just most of the time again I feel a retard holding this flex for 30 seconds, while other people are in the gym, cause it looks like ur a poser...

I did'nt notice anything from the supps.......I really believe that the work-outs had merit and that is where your growth came. I have done a one+ cycle and you KNOW it is working. I'm excited to try the cyber work-out wit one+ and I think that would be killa.

I still flex most of my muscles after each set for about 30 seconds, but I don't stand there posing like I was on the Olympia stage. Basically I lean on a machine like I'm resting, but at the same time I'm flexing my pecs/tris/bis/back/quads/calves (one at a time), abs...

Which reminds me, this one time, at band camp...

No no sorry, I'm getting carried away...I meant at a nightclub...there were these 5 guys dressed in tight shirts (to show off their "muscles") that were dancing among themselves because no girl wanted to dance with them. First, they didn't know how to dance. Second, they were looking around to see who was looking at them. No one was. Third, they were flexing their chests and arms while "dancing", one guys was looking at his arms while he was "dancing". Fourth, one guy was lucky enough to dance with one girl. He was looking at himself more than he was looking at her. The girl eventually walked away. These guys looked like they were doing a combo of a posedown/dance-a-thon. And finally fifth, my friend Dave, who is pretty overweight but so damn funny he can make you cry was dancing behind these guys, flexing his flabby arms, pushing his man tits together (flexing chest) and flexing his huge ab while "dancing". He had almost half the club hysterical!
