need an essay topic! (reps for help)
so for one of my Kinesiology classes i have to write an essay on a specific topic cocncerning older/elderly people and use a minimum of 5 pub-med studies. Im thinking something along the lines of "effects of exercise on elderly peoples metabolism" or "effects of HRT on muscular strength and muscular/aerobic endurance in older patients"...any good suggestions will be greatly appreciated and repped!

in my contemporary health class my teacher told me how cardiovascular activity in the elderly can greatly reduce their risk of blood related illnesses such as heart attack, clots, and whatnot

I'd keep it focused on a narrow topic, something like: "effects of exercise on elderly peoples arthritis" That will prevent you from having to cover too much and losing the point.

I know most people assume free-weights for the elderly are a bad idea, but you could go into a study of how the strengthening of stabilizer muscles while using them is better for a seniors every day life, rather than to rely on guided machines and hydraulic-type contraptions that are viewed as "Safer".
