any reasoning behind cobalt being last? from what i have the heard the opinion on the newer cobalts is that they are very fuel efficient and pretty reliable cars...or not?

Resale value for one. Second, I love Chevy but no matter how reliable they are getting, Honda is still 10 steps ahead of them.

civic
I've had one for a while. Change the oil ever 10k. It gets 30 mpg, cheap on insurance, was cheap to buy also
I had a Jetta, and it had electrical problems like they all do. Sooner or later youre going to be paying for huge repair bills. Cobalts are ok but seemed cheaply made. and yes thats in comparison to my civic luls

I had a civic, now I'm rollin on a Jetta. I love the Jetta more dude... repairs are more expensive but if you have an older Jetta, you can find used parts on VwVortex for cheap and the labor isn't much IMO if you bring it to a VW tuning shop, not the dealer. Don't ever go to a VW/Audi dealer they are stealerships. Also VW is much more classy and has a totally different group of enthusiasts.

When gasoline hits $4+/gallon next summer, you will be thankful that you have a diesel VW. Jetta TDI gets 45mpg on the highway.

My 05 cavalier is running strong at 105k with low maintenance. It expected it to last somewhere around 230k and I drive the hell out of it. Honda's are reliable except for the accords. My gf has an 07 and they are plagued with transmission issues prior to 100k. Do an online search for your vehicles reviews before you hand over the money.

brah, I hate the bi-level dash on the civics. get a 04-07 mazda 3. as reliable, nicer, and way more fun to drive
