Thanks guys. I guess my feelings stem from the fact that I'm losing my contest conditioning and fear that it will never return. I know I have to go through this to grow, it's just hard.....
Hi Lesa. I'm pretty sure your offseason lean is much leaner than most.... You are a squatting machine. I have some work to do to catch up to your output!
I'm having fun baking these days. For sweetner I use Splenda. I would use Stevia, but it's so bloody expensive!
Anyways, keep training hard and keep in touch.

Hey Rob... Keep your pants on dude! haha Funny video. I guess I missed it last night. Does anyone else here think Posh (Beckham's wife, as one contestant called her !!) is kinda scary skinny looking? Not even a little bicep showing. Anyway... maybe she has one of them crazy mirrors too. Rob, I hear ya! (I've got one too I think!) I'm sure you look great.. don't let your mind get warped.
Corn bread looks good. I made some once with jalapenos. Yum yummm !...

This video is hilarious. I wonder what his follow-up will be.....talkin' like a fool...?
Posh is pretty skinny eh? Like Paula, I wonder how she feels judging contestants that sing better than her.
Sorry Sammy, the workout was rather lackluster, nothing to worthy of a write-up. So for now it'll have to be cornbread dancing in your head.
Jennifer is having Lasik eye surgery today. I am going to be her eyes for the next couple of days. She's really looking forward to losing her glasses.
Have a super Friday!

As their #1 fan, I can definitivelysay that Posh's role in "The Girls" was NOT to sing.. And she knew it too
g'luck with the surgery!!!Contest Prep Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146273283&p=911273403&posted=1#post911273403

Thanks Sammy. Jennifer had her follow-up appointment this morning. Her vision is already 20/20. So other than her eyes being red and sensitive to the light, everything is perfect.
With HIIT done yesterday and a bunch of heavy squats this afternoon my legs are sufficiently worked over.
Jennifer's mother has been visiting and helping out with Nathan over the last couple of days, so we're going to take advantage of this and go out to dinner. Who knows the last time we've had the chance? Maybe sushi is in order...?

Glad the surgery went well. Awesome! Now she can SEE you PERFECTLY well. Hope that doesn't worry you! hahaha Yummers on the sushi. I feasted on some amazing tuna and BC salmon sashimi and rolls made with black rice, etc etc in Vancouver last week. Lots o protein. Good for you. Enjoy!

Oh Jaime...I've sunk many a boat in my day. We didn't set sail last night, but I did definitely eat my fill and then some. And I must say that sweet potato tempura may be the perfect food.
You're right AM, maybe perfect eyesight may not be the best thing for me right now. Maybe closer to contest shape, but definitely not now.
Hey Crystal, I am up around the same in weight as you - and it probably suits you better. I am definitely going over to check your journal. You are going to shine in your next contest!

You're kidding, right? I've never faced sweet potato tempura, but if ever I do, I probably will not come out alive.
Hey Jaime, I can beat Karma Karamel. Just have a taste of Ben & Jerry's Hannah Teter's Maple Blondie. Conveniently (and not yet not such a convenience), I have a tub of it right here. I'll transcribe the label: Maple Ice Cream with Blonde Brownie Chunks & a Maple Caramel Swirl. There's one thing about Ben & Jerry... when they say an icecream has chunks and swirls, they deliver!

I don't know. I've never had any flavour of Ben & Jerry's, let alone Karma Karamel. I do know they have a Cherry Garcia and Chunky Monkey - are they any good?
I figured to focus on romance last night and not picture taking, lol. I could try to recapture the feast through a charcoal drawing if you'd like.....
I'll see you there in all of your ripped glory!
This said tub of ice cream has now been wrapped up with duct tape, right V?
Heidi....you're alive.....yaaaay!
Right now Jennifer and I are watching the Golden Globe's red carpet special. I'm wearing Ralph Lauren and Jennifer's in Valentino....actually it might be closer to Old Navy and Jacob.....
I had to post this just for fun:

I will accept a charcoal rendition. That will suffice.
And Ben and Jerry's is fantastic. Half Baked is one of the best ones. Half Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and half Chocolate Fudge Brownie. No excuses, just performance...

Karma Karamel > Chunky Monkey > Cherry Garcia
But to each their own
