New BCS Standings; TCU goes to 4
http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings
1.) Flo-Rida
2.) 'Bama
3.) Texas
4.) TCU
5.) Cincinnati
6.) Boise
7.) Georgia Tech
8.) LSU
9.) USC
10.) Iowa
What I want to know is how LSU is still in the top 10 after losing yesterday and USC is back in the top 10. I'm not worried about my 'horns going to 3 because all we have to do is win and were in the National Championship game.

I'm looking at the AP top 25 on Yahoo and LSU didn't move down at all from last week... Is this the case?

Because they lost to last week's #3/this week's #2, and Iowa and Oregon lost, as did Penn State. So basically, after losing to a top 3 team, you can only expect to fall 1-2 assuming no other teams around your ranking lose. But two other top 10 teams lost, to lesser teams I might add. This means at the very least LSU doesn't budge, because two slots open up. Then you have the fact that Cincinatti and Boise State struggled against their mediocre as hell competition. So basically, LSU just fills in the void. TCU is the only other team that really did what they were supposed to, so they jump Cinci who stumbled against UConn. Factor in that SOS's change, and you get LSU still in the top 10, and actually a step higher than after they lost.

and USC is back in the top 10.

Basically all of what I just said, and in a nutshell...lack of better options. Sucks...I know. What's really crazy is how USC is back above Oregon.

Basically.

other teams lost to ****tier teams. LSU lost by 9 to the current #2 team in the nation.
Not that hard to understand.
USC over Oregon. Now THAT'S some BS.

Just curious. Would you like to provide input on which teams don't deserve their rankings and where you think they should be ranked?
I often hear this, and I agree there are some undeserved rankings, but I rarely see someone offer up where a team deserves to be and why.

Their only 2 losses are to the first and second ranked team in the nation, and the most they lost by was 10 points lol.
That and other teams are playing **** ball, and losing to ****ty teams.
Where do you think LSU deserves to be?

USC ahead of Oregon - I don't think much needs to be said there. I'm a USC fan too.
Georgia Tech at 7 - Honestly, are they really the number 7 team in the country? I'm going to go ahead and say no.
BYU in the top 25 - Sorry, when you get completely ass raped by an unranked FSU and don't even put up a good game against TCU, you don't deserve to be ranked.
Iowa in the top 10 after losing to....northwestern...
Just some thoughts, I'm not going to go into where they should be ranked because I honestly don't know, the pollsters probably know better than I do. Aside from the undefeated teams it's basically up for grabs, I guess.

I'd have to agree with all of those.
Glad to see you didn't pick on LSU for moving up. Not their fault Iowa blew donkey dick and Oregon got dropped by those geeky Cardinals.

Yeah, a little surprised they moved up 3 after that near loss against Wake.

Agreed, they've been barely winning games all year.

Good Lord, get Iowa the **** out of the top 10. They got beat by a real stellar NW and now they're going to get stomped when they go to Columbus
Remember when Iowa fans on here were actually talkin about NC dreams? That was straight lulz.

I don't see much wrong with the rankings. Most of the moves are by default because of other teams losing. USC is the only team I don't think deserves to be in there.
