Do any exercises make you nauseous???
Recently while doing deadlifts i tend to get nauseous... perhaps because ive increased the weight? Idk, but this is the only exercise that does this... this wont get me to stop doing them though, i love deadlifts.
anyone else gets nauseous while deadlifting or while doing any other exercise, or know what this means???

I know i get it from leg press when i stand up too quick - you could be getting it from deads as almost a 'motion sickness' from bending down and then going back up.

i found either not breathing properly, dehydration, low blood sugar or working out on an empty stomach... if it were the case, wouldn't it apply to any exercise? why just deadlifts? wtf

It seems I become sick due to all the blood rushing to my legs which leaves me feeling light headed and sick. Lack of blood in the brain perhaps?

I get a little nauseous on leg day sometimes. All that weight puts a burden on my breathing and core but it goes away rather quickly.

i get more like passing out than nauseous whenever i do deadlifts or squats. ive had times where ive been laying on the locker room floor dripping in sweat trying to figure out why i put myself through it. then i go out and try to get through another set lol

Using your entire body to lift very heavy weights equals a lot of exertion. I can get nauseous from squats, especially if to failure. Deadlifts can too but not usually. You've seen movies where the dude is prepping for a big event, working out so hard that he eventually pukes? Try sprinting until your legs can't carry you anymore, you're going to be nauseous, same principle.

haha thanks man. this isnt actually my first bodyspace or anything. i just figured i needed a fresh profile after comming out of an injury and getting back into it lol
i noticed though whenever i would get like that i waited over an hour after my pre-workout meal so maybe there wasnt enough food left in me? but then again you dont want to be digesting food when your lifting either. i guess that fine line between enough and not enough time before hitting the gym is hard to get just right.
