i was doing so good for so long but lost focus. I stepped on the scale yesterday at 344lbs. I was so disgusted. Back on track though now.

Well ive been on track the past week after a 6 week binge where I gained 19lbs. Ive lost 13.5lbs which i know is almost all water weight, but I am still 5.5lbs heavier than i was when I got off track. Hoping to get back to that weight by next week.

Start Weight 06/27/12: 464lbs
Short term Goal Weight: 314lbs
Current Weight 6/14/13: 330.5lbs
Weekly Loss: 13.5 lbs
Total Loss: 133.5 lbs

Havent updated in a while, but I hit my short term goal. I have now lost 150lbs which is a huge accomplishment. My next goal is 299lbs, under 300 which I have not been since freshman year in college 12 years ago.

Hey dude. I just wanted to let you know how amazing your really doing. Your truly an inspiration me to and other big people out there. You have come so far its truly amazing to see and watch. Every time you posted a weight status, I would smile. From where you have become to now it just great. I was former 340lbs and huge. Wearing 4x shirts and 46 pants. I ate what I want and didn't care. Well I'm 218lbs today and I feel great. Now I still need to get to my goal of 180 but i will get there.
I see you have a lot of cheat meals/days and that's ok!! You cant expect us big people or any people to eat healthy 24/7. You need to let loose every now and then. Have some fun and enjoy life and not restrict yourself so much that you feel alone in this world. I will tell you this. In jan 2013 I was 298, now in oct Im 218. So that is 80lbs loss with trainer and hardcore gym. What I said to myself is that Monday to Friday I was gonna eat clean and healthy and drink tons of water. And the weekend I was gonna try and eat good but If i had a cheat meal here and there I would and wouldn't get mad with myself. It has worked for me. I still ate good/healthy and worked out hardcore but I still had fun and eat Chinese food and other stuff sometimes to give myself a little reward. So maybe tried that. No one expects us big people to cut out bad fat foods cold turkey. There everywhere and they taste so good, but If you have it in moderation then you can still lose weight and be happy.
So I hoped that gives you some help and what worked for me. Congrats on the weight loss. Keep it up and me and you and every big person can get to our goal and be happy!!!!!!

Good week scale wise. Been almost a year since I really started focusing on losing weight (11/5/12 @ 445lbs). I probably saved my life in the past year. Kind of sickening to look at myself now, realize I am still fat an obese, and think how fat i let myself be, maxing out over 470lbs.

Dexa Scan
Did another Dexa Scan today
Current Weight 302.5lbs
Body Fat PCT: 34.5
LBM: 198lbs
Pretty crazy considering my first dexa scan was after i already lost 50lbs and i was at 50% body fat, 34.5 seems like a huge accomplishment.
Beginning to think my goal of weighing 199lbs might be a little too aggressive, might need to adjust that to the 210-220 range

Really nice, minimal LBM loss. What is your desired BF%? If you're comfortable being over 20%, then 210+ would be fine. If you were hoping to be 10-15%, then you better have some significant muscle mass because a lean 6'1 210-220 is HUGE.
Started 2012 at over 410lbs (that was as high as my scale went) and I ended the year at 260lbs.
Still going strong while eating whatever I want - whenever I want; I just keep it to under 2000 calories a day.

Finally got into the 200's weighing 299lbs today. This is the lowest I have weighed since freshman year of college in 2001/2002. My next goal is at 289lbs which would be 175lb total lost. Had a few other non scale victories as well this past week.
1. I finally subscribed from all the big and tall stores that keep sending me emails because I havent shopped recently. Felt good to say I will never shop in one again
2. I bought a pair of Under Armour XL sweat pants because they were on clearance, and they actually fit

With the holidays losing weight on the scale has been tough. Thanksgiving, birthdays, holiday parties, football tailgating, has made for a tough month.
