To those who went WR early and often instead of RBs

WRs who were drafted AFTER the 3rd round who are grossly outperforming their average draft placement:

1) Ocho
2) VJax
3) DeJax
4) Miles Austin
5) the "other" Steve Smith
6) Sidney Rice
7) Old Man Driver
8) Old Man Ward
9) Mike Sims-Walker
10) Nate Burleson

Add Percy Harvin, Hakeem Nicks and Mike Wallace to that list as well, since those rooks are producing.

Now how about RB?

1) Cedric Benson
2) Ray Rice
3) Ricky Williams

......

I am hit and miss for the players on this list. Like you I was very high on Vincent Jackson going into the draft and made sure to grab him on all my teams. I also grabbed Desean Jackson in a trade and he's worked out well.

At the time they were both emerging as legit receivers, I made the choice of picking up Mario Manningham instead of the other Steve Smith. That hasn't worked out that well, but either one would have been a 4th-5th receiver on my teams at best.

Miles Austin was still available on FA for me as late as 2 weeks ago and I was able to grab him in 2 leagues. One of those teams I have Tony Romo at QB, so that has turned into a nice weekly combo.

As for the backs, Ricky Williams has worked out with some of my starters having byes.

i'm pissed I actually wanted benson but the dude 1 pick in front of me took him so I had to settle for reggie bush or wells. Anyways I ended up trading 3 players for benson so its all good
