Book Help
I was going to ask this in the regular misc, but unless a post is a meme or sex related, things get passed by.
I'm trying to remember the name of a book I read about 10 years ago that I want to reread.
A guy finds a chess set in the attic or someplace and plays it with a friend. After the friend loses the match, he later dies. The guy finds out that the chess set is cursed and uses it to kill people he hates (whoever loeses dies.) If I remember right, he loses his last match.
I've had no luck by googling for it.Thanks for any help.

I googled and got a collection of stories called "The Empire of Ice Cream", one of which is about a cursed chess set.

lol deffo a real book. I chose it for English Literature Year 8 class where every thursday we just sat in class reading books we picked out.
