these guys are in the best shape almsot imaginable. they bust their butt during offseason and during regular season. im sure some college FB players could get into greater detail...but from what i know they still do hardcore workouts everyday. Thats how good of shape these guys are in....some suffer from overtraining...you can see it with the number of injuries these days...lots of pulls, strains, sprains, tears.

I played ball in college, and yes, we lifted all season long. With the amount of work college and pro ballers do in season, you really don't lose THAT much. You may drop a few pounds in certain lifts, but that doesn't always neccessarilly equate to being in football "shape", ya know what I mean?
I currently play semi-pro football, and I know by the end of the season, my lifts are down, but I still look the same, and I'm actually a better football player. I know when we first begin hitting, my lifts are always among they highest they've ever been, but I;m not in the best "football shape".
Nutrition really helps, too. I'm a big guy, so I don't go nuts, but I imagine most players eat like horses to keep their size. PM me if you wanna know more. Don't feel like typing anymore.
