Feeling unhealthy - e.g. stiff shoulders, neck, back, legs, etc...
I don't think this is really anything to do with lifting to be honest as I've always had an element of feeling like this. I lift 3-4 times a week, and have recently had a month off it, but back into it now.
The problem is, day-to-day I don't feel that great. I have very sore shoulders and neck and I feel quite stiff in these areas and quite uncomfortable. My lower back is quite stiff, my hips also feel quite unflexible, and my legs also.
For a few hours every week I feel good - i.e. when I'm lifting - but the other 500 hours or whatever it is I feel like crap and don't feel that healthy.
Any suggestions?

Perhaps incorperate a few stretching sessions during the day

Sounds like it is stress related. Try getting an adjustment/deep tissue massage from he ciropractor. Like someone else said you should try to stretch everyday - yoga is actually great for overall health and flexibility.

It sounds like outside factors are influencing your current state. Additionally, you may be over-exerting yourself physically.

Try stretching, foam rolling, eating properly, getting enough sleep, and taking a multivitamin with joint supplements. Also, if you're lifting with poor form, it's not going to help you.
